I discussed the recent Outriders Demo Patch announced that will be stopping one of the legendary farms in the game right now. This is good news, and offers insight into People Can Fly’s philosophy about loot.

Nope, doesn’t grab me as no
Investment in this game . Wanted to be engaged but sadly not and no burning desire to play it . Keep at it, I’m sure it’s good content for those getting into it
Sub for this well-spoken address to how to understand how the patch should be understood. Well done. Look forward to more content.
Live service isn't just about expanding the game every few months. It's ongoing monetization through updating on a regular schedule. Things like season pass(—-> subscriptions) and cash shops are what really put a game into that live service category. It's nice to see a Dev that doesn't want to go that route. I was slightly worried about the amount of patches/tweaks we might see post launch due to this. And the demo has resolved that one concern I had seeing them patch the game quickly and communicate well with fans. This is going to be a great game to go along side Destiny 2 and later this summer Back 4 Blood.
Great video as always.
im sure world tie 15 side mission will be super rewarding like a 1 in 3 drop chance but right now we are working with what we got.
I am sure all the people that already have the legendaries are ok with the patch. I been trying to get Legendaries (Tier 5) normally for two weeks and I cannot get one to drop : (
Actually it’s going permanently dude the demo is a permanent demo it will probably get patched up an updated a lot so that it matches the game when it’s released they don’t want people playing the demo Karen characters over from the demo but the demos got a different rules
No dude that’s not a live service means live service means here’s the game now we want to create a continuing revenue stream so we’re going to sell you a season pass or some other such monetization after the initial sale that’s all live services if the game is monetized after the initial sale with new content of any sort it’s a live service game
But yes even single player one and done games they don’t have any multiplayer ass crack they have no chance of a deal see even those games sometime get bug fixes and why not now days is becoming more and more calm and that every game requires an Internet connection so if they can fix anything they fucked up after lunch
I’m wrong but just exploit was yielding legendary items it was it was quite fruitful while it lasted you can complete it you know over and over and over again in a very short period of time and you don’t have to fight anything to do it and if they thought it wasn’t yielding anything they wouldn’t of fucked with it they know exactly how many legendary‘s people are pulling out of chess’s as far as the store asked why he goes that’s just an age his old ex-wife that’s been used in game after game after game to get things from vendors that have a very short refresh time and they should’ve planned for that in the first place and instead of fixing it so you can’t get Epix anymore they should’ve fixed it so that once you pull them out big you can’t possibly pull another one for another hour and fairways in game to to keep track of it even if you reset your PC timer call or a video I suppose you could do the same thing on the consul I am don’t know why in either case they were fruitful both of them were fruit because there’s no other way to get outbreaks I don’t believe you can get epic drops
Nobody said that people have been getting legendary’s playing legitimately right from day one
Call again buddy you’re just wrong every time you speak the legendary’s you get today can be upgraded all the way to endgame there’s absolutely nothing wrong with the legendary’s you’re getting today it’s only that it’s only 10 of the possible I think 46 legendary’s that will be available but you will most likely have the legendary you want to use by the time you reach level jam and you’ll simply be crafting to update it
Oh what a load of crap you’re spouting there are 46 legendary Sterally 30 levels 15 world tears you are going to probably possess each and every legendary before you even get the endgame doesn’t matter when you acquire them bad at all it may someone affect your Rob performance and that you may be more capable early on if you’ve ground out all 10 of the current legendary’s certainly you know at least for two or three world tears you may be ahead of the curve but it all evens out in the end anyway anyway
I agree they reacted really quickly but you have to also keep in mind that as demos go this one has had over 2 million people download it and try it so far so they’re getting a lot of feedback on the demo that you know most developers would look at them so I took them while we’re not gonna fuck with anything until after it’s released but they have gotten 2 million people trying it out so they’re getting some real a metrics
They want committed the shit anything of the sort they said that if the player demand is high enough they may think about a parent committed to anything you need to look up what the word committed means their answer was noncommittal it was actually just the opposite of committed it was like well we’ll see what happens a year from now if the game is really popular
Companies don’t wanna billabong standing games unless the game is providing a revenue source this game supposedly is not going to have a continuing revenue stream so why would they wanna build a long-standing game that just means maintaining servers for a little bit of nothing because the sales well done a lot of fairly quickly loft fairly quickly
Call 19 since there’s literally hundreds if not thousands of games out there that are live service 36 escalate making money without a subscription service
Destiny one and two and the division one and two are both perfect examples of highly successful live service games which none of which have subscriptions or maybe less you count your credit card be an auto charge for season passes or something
This game will be monetized with some kind of continuing revenue stream within the first year if it’s a successful launch
