for chrysaloid, devastators last unlock skill freezes him and doesn't use the ability charge, so you can keep him still while killing him 🙂

One question, I completed all side missions and campaign on 1 character already, for leveling an alt, if I do this method, will I be able to do Expeditions even if I just unlock a few points on campaign since im doing this rinse and repeat method?
After trying out the spider and chrysaloid farms myself it's pretty safe to say that you won't be max leveling in an hour with this method unless you were already level 29.75 before starting.

Something I noticed today when trying to farm the Crystalloid is that you don't get the xp till you end up in the camp, which is around a 5 minute unskippable set of cut scenes. Lava spider you get it as soon as you can loot it. So Crystalloid is a bit slower, but better XP, and drops IMO. Playing on XSX.
