You can always lower the world lvl to make it easy at anytime…so you can get better equipment and the move up.

Outside of armor mods, thats the skill setup I've been using and its been doing well. I am still in the demo version though. For mods I'm running earthquake applies bleed, does more damage, gets and extra charge, and gives up to 10 stacks of armor. It takes a minute for anything but an elite to kill me. Running the Captain mission in the demo and only the Captain and the 3-4 bigger minions, forget what they're called, are even a threat and even then its only because I intentionally let them swarm me. The smaller ads do literally no damage. That being said, I'm still stuck with blue gear so I have room for upgrading, that mod would be very helpful.
It seems like having ammo is crucial. I am glad I am leveling technomancer because they have a build with infinite ammo which I am gonna go for.

I thought it was hard at first until I unlocked crafting. Customizing gear makes a huge difference

What happens if you put clip loader on other guns equipped
Ive been using it on my purple shotty and with the boots from the hell ranger preorder as its changes the dash to phase through enemies dodge, also lookes cooler. Added bonus cant be trapped by enemies. This on devestator too.
