That one shot happened to me MULTIPLE times. I would die out of nowhere and it pissed me off so much that I left the game and never looked back. Also, how the fuck can a developer create a game where you leave earth and land on an alien planet just to re-create that alien planet exactly like earth? WHAT IS THE POINT OF LEAVING EARTH TO BEGIN WITH? The lack of imagination there blew me away.
trash game
It's like the entire gaming industry decided to release their own Anthem and do the same mistakes themselves…
I am grateful for Gamepass to let me play this game without buying it
Trashriders
More always-online live service trash biting the dust, what a surprise.
Square is and any games the release forward will be dead to me. Ever since they released FF7Remake(1) on PS4 and they gave us the finger about the sequel being on the newer, overpriced and otherwise impossible to obtain console.
You know…. HOOD OUTLAWS AND LEGENDS, released with almost zero bugs, fun pvpve action that keeping me entertained. Sure, some balancing is needed to be tweaked (each character has a “main build”). But it’s a nice game for 30 dollars that isn’t a cash grabbing piece of shit shooter that y’all are force fed? Play something different. Learn to game again!
When the game released I waited on people's impressions before investing anything and, in the end, I'm glad I didn't waste my money. A friend of mine immediately jumped on board but has since abandoned the game due to all the balancing issues. and we both felt this game wouldnt last long. That was 2 weeks ago and now the writing seems on the wall. This trend of rushing live services out the door hoping the player base will last until it can get fixed isn't sustainable and I hope that after Anthem, Avengers and Outriders publishers will realize this. It's a shame how talented studios and development teams' time and potential is wasted on these projects with them also being the ones taking the fall for the result in the end.
I guess I was one of the lucky ones then, me and my friend play it co-op and while there has been disconnects (roughly one a day, nothing too bad) our experience have been really positive.
We are at the end-game now and I really appreciate a solid looter shooter where you can easily play it CO-OP with a friend from start to finish.
The game is really fun if you like creating your own builds. Surprisingly many builds and styles are viable end-game contrary to most similar games.
Jesus Christ, get an adblocker!
I already gave up on that last-last gen thing. I settled for steam store credit since I went over the 2 hour limit being teased by the baby steps of "progression". But, I didn't pay full price for a damn wallpaper with one epic song. Even if it worked, there's just too little polish in too many areas. From the stiff and very outdated animation and sounds to the terrible gameplay! This is a catch-up game that tried to be everything that was popular several years ago and even included the game breaking problems and unnecessarily online only requirement.
Hey Squeenox, if you want to release a single player focused game, DON'T MAKE IT ONLINE ONLY!!! Damn smooth brains!
I actually had a lot of fun with the game, but I temporally stopped playing until the item loss gets fixed. I've already lost 2 legendaries and well I don't want to loose any more.
Even the devs said something in the lines of 'don't play until it gets fixed' so I'm patiently waiting.
This will be a thing with almost every live service game, that's why mostly no one even cares for live service games anymore. 90% of them die in a couple of months
Seems like they didn't learn from Division 2.
YIKES 93%
it was fun and good at the start, then they nerfed the loot, when will they learn.
Hello Anthem 2.0.
Those game directors don't understand that people need to feel rewarded for their time, they will always come back for more once they achieved what they want.
But they will never come back if you waste their time.
Dipped out of the game after I was booted out of the endgame activity by the persistent connection issues and the insta-kill bug, not the mention the constant spawning of enemies after killing the bosses in the timed activity. Totally forgot the game existed until this video.
The main story campaign was amazing. But the sever cross play connection issues were horrendous.
These live service games I hope are dying down, because they keep failing and I despise the model. Avengers died, this game is dying.
It has 2 stars on Xbox reviews & pretty much every review complains of multiple bugs/glitches as well as loot issues & recommend not spending cash on it.
I'd love to know the gamepass user count and drop off, I'm a gamepass user played it finished the story, got tired of the bugs and haven't touched it since
Shame because as a solo experience the game is pretty great. But as a co-op experience, it's very underwhelming and outright infuriating at times. Feels like the developers have no experience in creating a multiplayer game.
Your videos are irritating now. Every dumb thing that happens in gaming you make a 10 min video going on and on and on and on boring to death. Make shorter video. I know the 10 min video pays more but still
Hard pass on the merch.
I've tried playing this game. Got a couple hours in, quit. It's clunky and aged feeling, server and connection issues for single player.
No thanks.
I stopped playing along with my grandson all because of the stingy loot system
Saved money by not purchasing this one. phew dodged a bullet there.
advertising bs merch = downvote and goodbye
Looks like yet another dead live service game to add to the pile, they never learn lol.
NOT EVERY GAME NEEDS TO STAY AROUND FOREVER. We complain when they turn every game into a live service. So they make one that is NOT a live service. There is no new content, which they told us. This is why the playerbase is shrinking. How is this even news? This seems like a stretch for content.
5:39 … resulting in those players dieing very quickly …
Dieing (that's actually a real word, but it's not as same as "dying")? Really? AAA company can't even check their grammar?
I understand if that was some Vova from Tajikistan, but AAA company…
Gonna say, even Spiral Knights had a better record in terms of player base.
Outriders players: why would you nerf stuff in a PvE game?
Borderlands 3 players: first time?
it`s needs to be said: game is empty, it`s not tech issues, that loses happened mainly because of there is not much of content
Another one
Another one bites the dust.
Am I the only one that's not surprised. The trailers screamed garbage looter shooter and was only cemented as such after the gameplay got released.
Yeahh I played the demo thought 💭 it was flames, beat the story it was flames 🔥 imho, but the bugs, dumb down scaling, I can deal with a hard Grind….pause….but an Extreme Hard grind….again pause 😂😂, tracking enemy attacks, nerfs for NO reason..it is now in a library collecting dust 🤷🏾♂️
Totally didn’t see this one coming… it was so obvious this game was going to be generic.
Oh look, it's Negativitron again.
If it was free I would have tried it. Saw it was $60 and said fuck it. Good thing I did.
I was told about this game and I got unlimited game pass, so I didn't have to buy it. And I tried it but then everything just started to go wrong with it. I couldn't play with my friends it kept kicking me. I would have to reset my Xbox, and my friend even lost all his weapons and never got them back. So said ill wait till it's fixed, clearly thats still a problem
In the meantime Square Enix is flexing their so called "3 Mil Players' on Twitter and pretend this news is just a hoax.
Knew this game's gonna be like another one time thing lol
Imagine how much money they could have made if they released it a few months later without all the bugs.
I was kind of expecting something horrible to happen to this game in a short amount of time, but I was honestly expecting that it would be an end game/longevity issue, not tech and the devs being tone deaf.
