  1. Overall you could call it a success, but it only takes a few More "balance" patches AKA NERFS to Kill this game. Right now I think they need to Buff all weapons except the burst assault rifle, the shotguns are a JOKE in this game. Also, With t3 mods being the only thing making Legendaries Legendary, you would think Most would be better, but no they aren't so thats why most legendaries are shit. IF they Nerf the burst assault rifle ANYMORE, I am quitting this game. There are other areas with enemy abilities and PLAYER abilities needing tweaks.

  2. i chose the pestilence route for adding toxic to my technomancer… then i saw the other trees and beelined down to add the devestator's weakness to make myself a dps at close range with both turrets but after the first couple of days i could only use the rpg in the tools of destruction skill

  3. Cool on the melee, now let's buff Anomoly power so we can get builds built around that. My biggest complaint about the game so far is that with all end game content time based it forces everyone to just go with the highest DPS builds and not get creative unless they're just messing around.

  4. So don't know why bug fixes are considered live service work since it's expected for broken games to be fixed like Cyberpunk or Fallout New Vegas back in the day. Also, Outriders has the potential to change what live service can mean. they should avoid a bunch of microtransactions otherwise I could easily see a dip in the player base. However things like a battle pass for things like layered armor in Monster Hunter, emotes, and other cosmetics would be the least egregious way to do it. And expansions of course.

  6. End game no gear could work just new character and get some1 so do end boss for u dnt pick anything up start with basic 2/3 item gear and weapons best h could do as can’t remove gear far as I’m aware

  7. I personally would NOT want this become live service. Every live service game I’ve played ends up making it an experience where I end up missing out on something. I bought this game particularly because they mentioned it wasn’t a live service.

  8. So long as Live Service does not equal shit out a bunch of low effort "content" and cram the game full of microtransactions.
    EDIT: Also, just got the patch on Xbox One.

  9. I do hope they add more classes 2 I can think of right now is a cryomancer and ashmaker. Cryo is self explanatory but for a ash class. If anyone has watched fire force season 3 I’m thinking a class that acts like Kurono.

  10. Live service games can be good. I mean battlefront 2 while an awful mess at launch turned out pretty good. The only thing is imo they dropped service way too soon. They could have kept coming with new content.

  11. battlepass is a bad idea. They often give cosmetics in games, this game has no cosmetic features. All they could give to make it "worth" buying would be frfee legendaries/mods which removes the point from a looter/shooter grindfest. I think a semi live service approach may work well, perhaps create MANY MORE expeditions and have them on a monthly/multi-monthly rotation (at least to tie over till any future expansions). Perhaps like 3 sets of 14, rotate every 4 months similar to diablo seasons, each new set of 14 have unique gear not available in the others. Just a thought 🙂

  12. We shouldn't be surprised that melee is powerful… look at the melee enemies in the game, they're so powerful always knocking you back and rag-dolling you.
    Seriously tho, devastator melee is strong with bottom tree. Add the mod Untamed Power and melee really becomes viable.

  13. Yes i think it should go into live service, here’s the thing, live service has a bad rep because that business model has been handled so damn poorly but it doesn’t have to be. so yeah i think they could pull it off and keep this great game going becoming more

  14. I hope the gaming community leaves people can fly alone. Let them do what they're doing. Obviously they are doing something right. I feel like people become too toxic and demanding and ruin games that some of us just want to play and have fun.

  15. There more to come but we don’t need all the small things we’re you can pay for things this games not call of duty or division play for the big and badist guns we need a game that we need to find and look around to find the gear

  16. **No they don't need to embrace the live service model.**

    They need to focus on making the game less frustrating and more fun first.

    Solo expeditions should not have to be restarted when you die, and instead just give you a time penalty when you do die. Cut scenes in expeditions should not eat up the clock, or should be skippable0.

    Unlocked item mods should be shared between all characters.

    Currency should be enjoyed between all characters.

    After the patch they nerfed the item drop rates to something terrible. Pre patch on tier 8, I would see a legendary drop from world mobs and the pod drops were mostly epics. Post patch, on tier 15 only legendary drops I have seen are from the quests and pod drops are mostly rare/blue quality.

    The game is less fun now and just an unfun grind.
