Outriders New Horizon – Devastator Tank Build tweaked for easy Eye of the Storm farming



Since they ironically buffed moaning winds and radiation splash, that on one gun combined with the despair mod on gravity leap dishes out damage in the millions on this build with virtually no anomaly damage. Focusing on gravity leap for damage is what allows this build to still dish out good damage while being the ultimate tank and support build.

Maximizing the cool down and duration of golem is the best for the support side of this build because golem squad means my teammates have the golem effect for literally HALF the expedition.

And on the tanking front that part of the build is clear. Also on the tanking front gravity leap helps plenty by fully restoring my health just hitting one guy, and being invincible during the targeting if I need too while offering movement ability.

Finally tremor actually is OP for mob control tanking which is why you’ll see it help me on the harder expeditions with far more waves of enemies (which isn’t Eye of the Storm actually) such as the four new expeditions!

And now all my mods on my gear should be clear to you how they perfectly balance the most ultimate tank build with support utility too through golem squad and decent damage still.

The skill tree should be obvious too
how it connects everything. Even though I can use Unbroken Vow on this build too and even get self resurrection, I literally never die anyway on it so thought maxing health and my base health regen from that was better.

So yes on top of everything above, I also have MAX health possible in the entire game with over 2000 health regen just as a base amount independent of all my gear and skills.

Finally the weapons…I explained moaning winds use. Sandstorm with death chains is merely there for decent attrition damage over time while waiting for a grav leap moaning winds combo again. However you probably notice I stuck weapon and skill leech on all my gear too.

This means my shooting also heals me and I stuck ultimate bleed on my pistols just to have that ultimate health regen when needed. When is it needed? The very rare moments all 3 of my skills might be on cool down while I’m facing high damage outputs still (you’ll see that in the next video when I solo EOTS carrying two others too). In those sticky situations merely relying on my raw health, regen, and armor combining it with weapon leech and skill leech activations from the bleeds on my pistols let’s me still survive the harshest damage in the game without any of my skills active yet.

This is the tankiest dev I think I’ve made. Anomaly bleed builds still don’t compare just because they’re far riskier. Can they easily solo EOTS too? Of course and I have on them. But the fact they have no health or base regen and resistance compared to this build means the moment they might get stun locked briefly while taking tons of damage they can still die easily. This build is a true tank while not sacrificing on the regen capability either.
