With the update changes to Outriders where legendaries have been added into the lootpools of side quests, are they better to run now than the OG Captain & the Vanguard Captain for legendary loot?

You don't have to change your story point from the lobby… you can literally just fast travel there from the banner and the HUB and replay the quest over and over.
YouTubers get loot nerfed so they make new videos to get the rest nerfed

I’ve been farming for almost three days with every character and I have not gotten one single legendary anything. Probably will NOT purchase the full game.
You got one legendary within 20 min. Captain run. Did the run yesterday. 6+ hours. Didn't get nothing. Man. Burning my self on this demo haha. I have one legendary across 2 characters. Total play time 26 hours. Then I see you guys have all the damn legendarys. It's like the game knows that your a YouTuber and drops legendarys like ita nothing
Got my first legendary from this side quest back during the like 3rd day of the demo lol then just got my second from farming chest we'll see how the captain farm goes next.
Dont get why players cry over Legendary drop rates, like…its a F*CKN LEGENDARY!! Its suposed to be like that ..in All Games!

15 hours of grinding…. nothing. Then withing 5 RUNS! I got golem and the ice sniper. Keep on grinding boys its purely RNG

I believe it's somewhat time based because I farmed the 5 chests for an hour and got nothing then killed captain 1 time and dropped my first legendary.
Yeah been farming for a week and only got the rifle and LMG but lost the LMG because of my inventory wiping when I quit the game thank goodness I had the rifle equipped when I quit or I would’ve lost it also…was not happy
i just do the last side quest , kill captain and die and do till it drop.
This sum bs i still aint get no legendary after 4 days
I have about 500 runs on the captain at tier 5 and have 3 legendaries. My friends have 3 legendaries on about 400 and 150 runs doing the same. Really hard to predict with the low drop rates, but it's probably something around 1% or less with that method? Thanks for the anecdotal input on your RNG as well, DPJ
Hey DPJ have you come across this bug on xbox one where the game sometimes crashing when messing with the vendor like selling bulk when in multiplayer or something along these lines and when it crashes you lose quite abit of your inventory?
I was running woth a Buddy and he got 2 in the about 5 hours we ran and i got a whopping 0
I'm beginning to think legendaries only drop for pc I've done a week of 4 hour play times of continues side quests and captain repeating and only got one with my pyro while I was playing with a pc player
My game is still on 1.04 , I'm not even sure if i got the update yet :0 I don't know if the tane auto updated cause I still have no notifications saying the game needs to update..
