The newest outriders patch is set to release May 20th and fix the long standing damage mitigation but is it enough?

I'm still enjoying the grind so I won't be going anywhere and hoping the devs don't totally abandon the game.
I think, they did't care the game anymore, they get the profit and bye.
Needs to be more end game content. Doing the same expeditions over and over gets old
Still trying to get a few pieces. However im not investing any deep time in it due to the fact that it seems like devs dont care. I think in order to pull it out they will have to a huge massive overhaul of their entire lifestyle as to us and the game.
Why did it take them weeks upon weeks to fix one thing? Theirs qol changes that need to happen and theirs quest bugs along with many other problems. I mean come on its 2021 and we cant even lock our gear. Also we dont care about an appreciation package cuz its more than likely gonna be full of things noone needs considering theirs tons of legendaries that arent useful in this game. I want a game that works i could care less about free gear because the last time they gave āeveryoneā gear I got a piece of cannonball gear and nothing else.

im still playing it, the expeditions are getting a bit boring but levelling up a techno and its still a game to play and chill with friends. I'm very glad i never paid full price for it though

The direction of this developer's work has been proven rather weak to me. At launch, the game couldn't be logged on for a long time, then you get your crashes, then you are nerfing things that is subjectively unnecessarily before the game is stable. Finally, when there is a patch, they have broken other things with it.
Putting the tech issues aside, is the game as a looter shooter that deep and well designed? I personally perfere Nioh2's endgame and loot systems. For Outrider's story, VA and the scripts are all below par, though we are not playing this game for the story, it is below par for today's standard.
I wish this game will do well as co-op is a tons of fun, but so far, this is not the work of a good developer.

I'm honestly not sure. I've played from day one through all the hell it's been and I'm still playing. Multiplayer is by far the most painful thing….even more than one shot dying. My average is 40min to get a match…I wish I was exaggerating. The second is I have well over 200 hours and no 3-4pieces to a gear set. Like it's impossible with rng to get a decent build unless your super lucky. Biomutant might never bring me back idk. I need the drop rate to increase. I don't want to fight matching for 300 hours for one lego
Also are they waiting for customer appreciation package once everyone is gone? Like it's been almost 2 months…you can put Legos in obviously like wipe fix. What is taking so long?
I'm still playing. But I don't have much time to play because I work 2 jobs. For me the bigger concern is after I get to the point of doing expeditions at the highest point what then? I really won't have anything left to grind towards? As for the developers. When I read the credits I very much imagine some nerds in a basement of a bombed out portion of northern Europe. So that pretty much explains all the issues with the game for me. I think there doing the best with what they have, and most American's ideas of how products are produced and bought to them are exstreamly disproportionate to the reality of the situation.

Im rocking hacked weapons and having a blast,not hiding it at all i even show it in my streams.as long as you're on your own game do wht u gotta do to make it fun.the devs even said before that,on your game you can do what u want.i play solo anyway so the watermark is irrelevant to me.but on my game im making it fun for me.
R.I.P outriders was fun while it lasted to many issues first off I would have never purchased the game if I knew they wasn't running dedicated servers then my toon gets wiped and now I get 1 shot by anything and everything so all my builds are screwed went from soloing t15 to barely able to survive t12 the hell with this game much better stuff out there and coming n future
I like the game itās crazy that I literally cannot run expeditions without no body even if just trying to chill and grind by myself a little bit I die way to fast even I have all max gear Iām getting one shot by enemies even my armor is good Iām tired of it I just wanna play the game and stop dieing
They announced new content in the future. That is good enough for me for now. Bugs will be fixed at PCF's snail pace, but they will be fixed eventually. But if they are sticking to p2p connections, I will continue to play this game as a single-player experience.
People are done because you can't play with your friends with out issues. Also the loot is way to skinny buff that shit. Still playing but can't play with friends and it's frustrating solo.
It is too late, too much lying and too many bugs drowe me to use cheats also and i just dont care anymore. The game for me is way more fun using cheats and even since i cheat it still takes loads of time to get the set armors the 90k+ weapons you want so yeah i just do not give a flying fock about the game and the devs to me they are not putting in the effort compared to what i payed and i want to have fun in the game, which well with a cheat program it helps. Sadly.

All this endgame is now is expo expo expo it gets old af i have every legendary in the game. Only took 7 days of gameplay. So there's nothing else left for me to do. And people that have modded guns more power to them.so they can 1 shot everything and get expo over with as fast as possible. Game is so broke t14 with 15% drop rate for lego drops more legos then t15 with 25% chance game is broken af coming from me the guy that has everything in the game. Sad part is i really enjoyed the game too now its just lame af

Still ejoying the game tbh, I play around the bugs. I've played games where every bug took way longer to get fixed. Sure, I understand where people coming from, they are paying for it. But for me I think people are overreacting. If you really are so pissed off just go play a different game and come back when they fix it. There is still a lot to play for and I am looking forward to the DLC, will definitely play it, and so are all the people that scream the loudest that they would never play again…
I've played 200hrs legit got techno, dev and pyro to 30 ct 15s, after that i said fuck it gonna cheat some cause it really is a pain to get leggos and having to constantly relog due to oneshot bug, armor bug and hp bug.
So let me tell you what my conclusion is after using cheats:
1. T15 has the highest % to drop rarest items like helms and some weapons
2. I made a 2 trillion dmg weapon for purpose of oneshotting everything which didn't happen, while most normal mobs got hit for 80-100mil dmg, some elites and most bosses got hit for 200k-1mil dmg (behemots and brood mothers 100% of the time)
3. Even with cheats buffing drop chance for 3-6 leggos per run the drop chance for helms was terrible.
4. Cannonball drops almost every run 1-3 pieces.
This game is a shitshow, i love looter shooters for their endgame, i thought outriders was gonna have a fun diversity due to alot of build possibilities thx to mods and sets, but seeing how 50% of mods and armor sets are broken and it takes them 15 days to release the patch for mitigation only (god knows if it will work or if they break something else in process) i honestly dont see them adressing other issues in next year or so.

Let's just say for a moment they fix everything in the next month. The damage mitigation, the multiplayer lag, the bugs. Everything. They just fixed the game. It's going to be another 2 months before we even address QoL things. Better targeted loot, locking gear, glamor system, more stash. The game has 10 endgame maps. No reason to do Eye of the Storm. As much as I would love to play the builds I been so desperately farming for… without QoL and balancing stuff what's the point.
I hope they fix the issues cause I love this game
People are cheating because people are fed up. One way or the other some people will do whatever it takes to get their moneyās worth. Even if it means cheating to get around broken Math in their code that they canāt seem to fix.

Reluctantly, I keep on logging back in hoping for the Acari chest to drop one day on CT13s. My poor Dev has never seen the helm either as of yet.
