Best way to protect gear is uninstall at this point and just wait.. we wanted Anthem 2.0 and well we got it.. another unfortunate train wreck and online only money grab
Throw on the unstable eruption mod it procs on melee
Perfect reason to make it couch co-op

How to avoid memory wipes: Don't play your main or with other people.
Sounds like a terrible thing to do when there are many other games out.

Im glad i didnt buy the game outright even though im still enjoying the game but i have game pass.. My condolences for everyone whose lost all their gear.. Smh hope they fix it very soon or else that lil appreciation package really aint gona mean too much but a naked character with a random legendary weapon and some titanium and frustrated emote 😰 lol
Lost my shit on my alt today thankfully my main is fine but this is total fucking bullshit, won’t be touching this game until this issue is permanently fixed and even then i might have moved to another game, not sure how you have a bug this bad in a looter shooter but good job quite the fuck up indeed
these videos sound like the fanboys that supported Anthem until that game finally died….and Outriders is headed on that same path. the replayability and risk vs reward have gone down the tubes with all the nerfing. They nerfed a co-op game bc gamers exposed how to get to the end game and get better gear.
I’m glad that I’ve been holding off on playing the full game. Just waiting to see when these inventory wipes stop happening.
I have to say it is interesting comparing this community reaction to other community reactions to bugs. I know there are peeps that are raging but there seems to be a more leveled response to this in general. It feels like people are actually being patient and waiting for the fix for the most part. The community is even helping narrow down what the issue could be by testing things themselves. Just interesting.
Here's a tip don't play the game at all til the issue is fix then you have no worry of losing everything

Man this is why we get broken game's buying bullsh.. A game should work right the first time. I wouldn't buy a new car with a broke engine and excuse the dealership
How often do the saves sync with the server anyway? If you can do it to avoid losing your inventory, it might mean you could lose drops and such to disconnects/lose of power etc, which is also incredibly frustrating….
Absolutely ridiculous. I was really loving the game with my friends but I'm just too afraid to play it until they fix this. The game has so much potential to become a popular franchise but this is really hurting their positive PR.

I've been having problems with a bug where I am upgrading blues that are god rolls but for some reason it's not giving me another mod slot this game is so broken I spend hours to get god rolls and it won't even give me another mod slot
I got this other day and I'm gob smacked iv never had a bug so bad happen to me I dont even want to make a 2nd character
