  1. Devastator has plenty damage I dont struggle, also great support class buffer/debuffer its like final fantasy/dcuo you wouldnt do dungeons/raids without a healer/controller but hey what do I know I left destiny 2 and division 2 lol. We do need loadout slots for our builds.

  2. Devs need to add warning when you overwrite a tier 3 mod with a lesser mod… if you go too quickly you can lose a hard to get tier three mod accidentally.. as I did yesterday… been playing for quite some time and got my first piece of class legendary pants and accidentally overwrote the tier 3 mod and now it's gone.

  3. All of these issues stem from poor game design. Any class can be tanky as long as they fulfill their class healing requirements. And all classes basically boil down to killing enemies as quickly as possible. So as long as you rapidly kill, you will tank any amount of damage thrown at you. Not to mention that all Expeditions throw tons of enemies at you. Which means you will always be able to rapidly heal because there are always adds for you to kill.

Therefore, all classes heal so rapidly that a need for a pure tank class is not existent. And with very limited class points – you have to spend them wisely, which in Outriders at the moment is all damage.

  4. For me it seems they wont be more cautious with balance changes but more detailed and explanatory – maybe giving more time to adjust before nerfes etc. We all have to admit, understanding what is working and how is a lot of testing and it costs time. Most of the mods arent really explaining well how they scale and what not – farming them can be a pain too. For the most part, even after the nerf, new powerfull builds emerge. Builds that not rely on Anomaly Rounds and still boinking through CT15. Even the Devastator is rocking :D, tested it myself despite beeing an Pyro main.

You still can clear CT´s pretty good. Despite the fact that CT15 should be more for groups, you still can solo it on gold. But you need certain key parts and building blocks. I guess that was intended. We will see.

  5. The last 2 tricksters I played with couldn't even get half my damage. Quit bitching and kicking people and just enjoy the damn game..if u can. ROCK SQUAD

  6. The problem with Outriders is squarely the fact that they punish you for not completing levels fast enough, so any build that doesn't prioritize damage is second class. Destiny's approach to making things viable is awful, they always just invent some dumb reason why you're forced to use this or that weapon or ability. The point of balance shouldn't be making sure that people are forced to use everything that exists in the game, the point of balance should be that people are able to use whatever they enjoy most without getting screwed.

  7. Now they want to prioritize inventory wipes? After nerfing classes. Shouldn’t it have been priority before that? So instead you got ppl quitting the game because they lost all their gear and other ppl mad their build got nerfed

  8. Got to love how everyone complained over the nerfs. But a dev is only competive if highly geared, while the nerfed ones are low geared. The nerfs are not that hard if one just gear them correctly.
I got dev, trickster, and tech to endgame. But i have more fun in dev. But oh my its so much harder to do good. Those gold are hard to get. Usaly missing them by second becouse you are lacking on cleaning up the trash waisting presius seconds.

  9. I do not agree with the assessment of the Devastator. Unfortunately right now I cannot play my Devastator Because he lossed all of his equipment. I have probably ran 10 to 15 pod runs, With the exception of one run I did more damage then anybody else in the party. In my opinion if people think that the devastator is the weakest damage dealer then they don't know how to build it. Not only can the devastator that I built take a lot of damage but it could also dish it out, At least before the equipment wipe.

  10. Yeah it does suck being a Devastator it's impossible to improve my class if no one will let me play. I kind of get tired of hearing will just play a different class I enjoy tank classes I shouldn't have to change

  11. Just going to keep grinding as a dev main, cleared most of the game solo and working my way to CT15. When I play with friends (a tech and a trickster) I usually end up carrying dmg wise and clutching because everyone's building glass cannon. You cant deal all that dmg if you're down lol…eyes up guardian lmao

  12. i'm curious, are all the loud voices in the community in possession of every legendary set and tier 3 mods? if not, isnt all this complaining and demandings buffs or unnerfing recent balancing premature? i play a ton of outriders and i'm still not at level 30 with any of my characters, granted i play 3 classes, 2 solo and one with my girl, but with the droprates being what they are, how likely is it players got everything there is and tried every possible build? All i'm saying is it feels premature to judge the endgame, but maybe i'm way off on this. I still have to experience the endgame myself, but i main devastator and he felt very powerful and useful. Another thing is, people tend to look for the cheese, while endgame is supposed to be a very difficult, slow climb to perfection. i played destiny 1 absurd amounts of hours, and i remember all those demands very closely tied to the cheeses (remember that endless ammo sniper? forgot the name, but is was mandatory in most groups). if the bullet builds were too much of a cheese compared to other builds, i feel the rebalancing is justified. I know we want to, but we don't get to decide how the gameplay was intended. They also clearly stated they closely monitor every rebalancing to see if the effect is as intended. But again, i'm from the outside looking in, but also got crazy hours in all the big looter shooters, and i kinda see the same complaints, and alot of them are more based on the feeling of your most powerful thing getting taken away from you. that feels bad, but is ultimately good for the game. most of the time. if not, they could undo the wrongs. SO… sit tight and enjoy the fun there is to have, at least i'm loving this game.

  13. Definitely a way to lock gear from being broken down accidentally. I accidentally trashed (thank god only this) a pair of awesome boots and was running to a vendor in barefeet just to buy anything I could and hope for a decent selection haha. Luckily it worked out and there were no mods on it I didn't already have (losing a rare tier 3 mod or something would have blown). So yeah add a separate inventory that's locked where you can keep things you don't want to destroy and if you do, you have to manually move them to the other inventory something like that, or just a literal lock feature so if you accidentally hit the button a message comes up saying the gear is locked. This game has mad potential but they need to move fast (peoples attention spans are short these days and a lot of other good games coming out) and they need to listen to the community. Not doing that is what kills every game.

  14. The thing about the devastator is that he's NOT weak at all, he can take one hell of a beating and still come out on top. He just wins through survivability over damage. The "time attack" is what takes that away from from the class and it's just a horrible endgame design choice in general. When build vareity goes out the window because only SPECIFIC builds are viable in endgame, that takes choice away from the player. Why doesn't PCF see that?

Who can honestly say they actually like being rushed by a timer through endgame content while being forced to run a build you might not want to even use?

  17. The Division critique is misplaced. For normal group content, the gear score wasn’t an issue and no one was kicked. For heroic content and above, if you didn’t have the right gear or build, you were removed because you were not going to survive and would not be a benefit to the team. It wasn’t elitism but a recognition that lower level players needed to grind a bit more to be viable in more difficult content without being carried. Further, certain missions needed certain builds to handle the mechanics, if a player didn’t have those builds , the team couldn’t complete the mission. Again, not elitism but a reflection players needed to grind up and read about missions to have the requisite builds …

  18. Pcf should remove the ability to kick people or if they have someone who always kicks other people make it harder for that person to get into a co-op group for always kicking people.

  19. I've not reached the expeditions yet as I'm far too casual for this game, but it strikes me that if there's a timer that's pushing the endgame forward then deaths should incur a time penalty. All of a sudden that high risk DPS strategy is a much higher risk to roll with.
