Meh i already beat the game twice on 2 different characters got every legendary, and maxed my characters build. Carried so many players in the Outriders Discord. Yeah i'm done with the game.
I know this game has had some bugs but it's not like every game that has come out 2020-2021 hasn't released buggy as hell. Split community? Um no. This is more of a drama channel than a gaming channel. Anyone remember Anthem? That was a shit game. Outriders is good
Buddy and I have been sitting at level 22 because the connection is so bad ,so we just stopped playing all together. Saw the patch and had hope. Buddy and I loaded in and the fucking connection was somehow worse, and to put the fucking Cherry on top…the damn enemies wouldn’t spawn in. Uninstalled and severely disappointed.

Maybe I’m one of the lucky ones. I’ve been playing Dev for over 200 hours and even tho I’m aware and experienced many of the bugs, it doesn’t really bother me and my buddy and I are having no issues clearing Gold CT15s. Maybe I’m used to the constant disappointment coming from destiny that I have a higher tolerance to this stuff, but IMO a lot of these complaints are overreactions asides from the wipe issues. That’s just me tho. I’m still enjoying the game on PC, playing exclusively Crossplay with a buddy who’s on PS5
Yepp..I have crashed 24 times since the GREAT NEW PATCH. Even worse, I'm dying left and right as my build gets stronger? WTF??? I didn't use Emergency Stance and I never died: I do use Damage Mitigation and BUGS are one shot spit killing me
Another YouTuber making negative gaming videos to feed there views. This generation of gaming is so spoiled by developers abilities to update games and who is this game “unplayable” for I have been playing the game from demo to now I have had 1 crash in that time. Games are supposed to be challenging suck it up butter cup.
well…everyone thought this was going to be some 2nd coming of destiny and burned through the content like a live service. ive played since the demo and TODAY i just got to the end game. I got my moneys worth
I feel you. I enjoyed the game. I have friends I play with all the time. One got his inventory wiped. And he hasn't played since. If they took it seriously on the demo. This would not be a problem but they didn't. I still play solo at times and what gets me for example I'm playing technomancer and I'm at endgame. Why in the hell I can't get toxic lead Mod. Which is tier 2. Got all of them except that one. Things that make you say hhhhhhmmmmmmmmm.
All this could have been avoided by simply testing the damn game. What happened to QC in this industry. It's literally gone. We are paying beta testers. There's no excuse for this shit anymore and I'm tired of people defending these lazy devs. I quit playing over a week ago when I realized how unrewarding the endgame was , along with all the other issues.
I just don't understand. They made a great game, but their constant meddling and contradicting philosophies just…killed it. Completely killed it.
They touted this game as not a live service, yet we got every single negative thing (other than microtransactions) pertaining to live service games and none of the positive. Heavy-handed and kneejerk nerfs that were not needed (We needed buffs!), buggy online oriented systems that literally deleted people's inventories, always online for no reason whatsoever, and an endgame that directly contradicts their supposed ideology – Build diversity. They sit there and tell us they want us to use varied builds, yet endgame is all "Time Attack", so you practically must have the most optimal, high dps build you can get or you won't ever get gold.
Frankly, that's what this is all about. Contradiction. People Can Fly and Outriders as a whole are just straight up contradictions of themselves. Sad thing is, the game is basically successful. We all got suckered in by the well done demo and the need for a new 3rd person shooter. PCF will probably not learn from this at all.
But I've learned. I will not be purchasing another PCF game until reviews are fully in, and even then I'll be very wary. I will also not get suckered in by a demo of an Online Only game ever again either.

I’m sorry guys. I know it’s hard to make consistent and accurate content on a game that’s constantly shadow nerfed and broken.
I felt this in a deep way. I was literally thinking, it's time to move on when this video came across my recommends. I waited for this game for a year after it was announced. Was excited to see all the positive feedback from the demo..Put in my fair share of hours into the main campaign across all 4 classes. Dealt with the constant bugs and log in issues hoping for a better, brighter tomorrow. And tomorrow never came. How long do you root for a losing team before you lose all hope. It's the 4th quarter and my team is flailing. Fresh new competition is starting to pour in as new games are rapidly reaching their launch date. And Outriders is looking more and more like a thing of the past every passing day. I'm with you Codiak. It was fun. But I'm exhausted. It's time to move on.
At this point after this game I'm gonna wait 3 weeks before picking up any pve game to see if their going to knee jerk nerf(oh sorry balance) the game before most people have hit endgame
The reason people are not playing this game anymore is because it’s not a live service game there not adding content frequently so people are gonna leave it has nothing to do with the bugs or patches or “Broken promises” look at other games in the genre people want more stuff to do
I left weeks ago to killing floor 2.
After the patch I went to do a level 12ct expo (I am CT 14) and upon opening the first gate to start I was instantly killed. I tried one more time and that time I only lasted about 10 seconds. I logged out and uninstalled. I watched a video yesterday where a guy hacked into the game and gave himself 1 billion armor then went into a ct 15 expo and was instantly killed. This only seems to happen to some people though not everyone and there are many ignorant people on reddit who believe just because it is not happening to them, it can't be happening.
The biggest problem is gaming developers have gotten so use to half assing their jobs to give a good polished product. No matter what company its always the same shit. No matter how much we complain or have an opinon we are always wrong and they can always continue to take our moneyand we cannot do anything about it.

Played the an expedition after the patch. I finished it, went back to camp saw the little autosave symbol started up another expedition, then got server error kicked. Closed the game, reopened it then crashed. Reopened it again and the legendary rib gun and the other shitty gun/armor I got are gone.

I knew it after the first patch with nerfs and shit and not bug fixes this game was gon a die like anthem did. And here we are . Dead as the dicks that devs are sucking
When this last patch went live I saw my trickster, my main character, not been able to solo CT13 Stargate, something that I could easily do before patch. I was really upset so I quitted that day, thinking that the emergency golem fix was the reason I was getting one shot by the enemies. Yesterday I saw some vids and came to the conclusion that maybe PCF wanted us to play the game fairly, using different mods to cover armor and whatnot. So i logged in to the game, change some mods, and try a CT12 expedition. Everything was kinda ok, I was getting still low on health but was able to recover, until i appeared in front of a Breacher using Hunt the prey and he ONE SHOT ME WITH FULL HEALTH AND SHIELD. I alt f4 the game and had literally no playtime for the game this weekend. I still love the game but I just don't want to open it at this time. Great video Codiak.

I share your sentiments here 100%. Even after losing a character due to the inventory wipe bug, I kept playing, but after this latest patch I'm done. Gameplay is too inconsistent and the patches create more bugs, forcing us to diagnose our own issues in game. Experimenting with builds is impossible when you're not sure what's a bug and what's performing as intended.
I love the game I played every day but you right they need to get it together
The moment when a single….."a single" Perforo can kill you between one hit to three hits despite how well geared you are, tanky or not, there IS a problem. I give PCF my respect for their transparancy, but they need to work out whatever issues they have with their bug fixing team and the team truly responsible for the nerfs, etc. Why even look to nerf, etc when the game is barely even playable? Why are these nerfs even needed especially when this game isn't even a live service game? Have they even tested out the results of these nerfs? Like I said, when a single grunt can handle you like a how a super boss can, you have a problem. What is the point making all these builds (dps, tank, etc), if the team responsible for these nerfs, etc keep screwing with us? I love the game, truly I do, but this game is slowly making itself home with the other games that could have been great, but stopped short like Cyberpunk, Anthem, Avengers, etc.
Patience can only go so far. Like everything in life, patience too has a limit and if the "overall" developers, bug team and nerf team, can't get this right "before" releasing a product, why even bother at all. It is really tiring paying good, hard earned money for an unfinished product. We don't pay 60 or 70 dollars to be a beta tester. Get it right or don't bother at all.
If they want players to enjoy the game remove the dumbass timer in the expeditions.
Make it 3 zones each zone increases teir of the loot. With a 4th bonus zone where if you beat that too you get double loot drops
Yea. I’m done as well. The big patch we all waited for was supposed to fix everything. I don’t think they are capable. CO-op is still bad, loot is still bad and now with the nerfs, the game isn’t as fun. I may check back at a later date.

Have to say that still enjoy the game and hope things do get fixed and more content comes along, but i think I would feel differently if I had spent £70 on it rather that it be part of Game Pass.

A 100% PvE game nerfing everything into the ground is just stupid and will ALWAYS piss off the player base.
Unless something is like actually broken and gives unlimited health or kills everything in 1 bullet then just leave it. Let players that work on their crazy builds and grinds stay powerful instead of making sure no one is powerful
Spot on, exhausted. Especially when there is such an evident problem with loot distribution also. Been farming the Seismic set for ages, no drops apart from 4 gloves one after the other. The one class that needs gear to really shine and they make the one set that makes a difference a unicorn. Uninstalling. Great job PCF 👏
Finally my connection issues got better happy for that but it's sad this could have been a really nice fun game to play and the devs have killed off any hope players had for this
I'm glad it's part of gamepass id be super pissed if I bought this game outright I was hoping this would be my go to when destiny was in a lull hopefully biomutuant sticks the release
