  1. i have the 1070 8gb gpu which is about 25% ish faster than this one. i can get away with 1440p 60 in a lot of games on it which is great considering its like 5 years old now.

  2. I gave my son my old 1080 card and he enjoys gaming at 1080p no problems. I understand we all want more more more, but it's ok to save money.
FYI, I am not upgrading or replacing my old card.

  3. i like what you di with RTSS , you put the physical cores to show !!

I've done the same some time ago … it was tricky finding them though , I selected the ones that had high usage.

  4. Awesome showcase that old GPUs just work fine! πŸ™‚ I mean with an older dedicated GPU with 4GB and above, it's always a great practice to start at low or medium and increase settings from there. Generally texture quality and texture filtering has minimal impact. In this game I think "Low" preset, and then changing shadows to "Medium" and then textures to "Ultra" would be great for a fairly high refresh rate experience. while "Medium" Preset, "High" Shadows and "Ultra" Textures would be great for 60fps+. πŸ™‚

  5. games these days on medium and low settings dont look a huge deal different to high or ultra. Gone are the days when you run at medium to low details and getting san andreas spec textures and model details

  6. I might give this game a shot since it's on GamePass. I like my character model on the screen for some reason. I can play first person but much prefer second. Now off to watch some Game play footage.
