  1. I was just praising this game, but my god not even a week in and already getting hit with the nerf stick?! How about buffing things? How about show the devastator some love? It’s a pve only game so there’s no excuse. They need to stop focusing only on streamers/yters that blitz through everything and make everything look easy with the most op builds, because they play 16 hrs a day. They’re a bad representation of 99% of their player base

  2. In my opinion it's unacceptable if they're already working on Nerfs against the player and haven't even discussed balancing ai issues. Honestly I'm not trying to be mean but if they were offering a refund right now I would take it in a second.

  3. Not a great look for this game sadly. Rocky launch with the servers and now they are nerfing. They need to balance the AI and fix all the bugs first. I don’t think People Can Fly know what they are doing here.

  4. Mostly good stuff. Can't speak to Tech or Pyro but kinda feel like Trickster nerf may have been a bit heavy handed. I can see the changes to Twisted Rounds OR the class nodes, but not both. And since TR was way more busted it should've started with that. The nodes actually worked well with a build I was running that rewarded me for using skills (I didn't run TR) and it just got shot in the foot lol. The reddit part of the rebalancing post has been downvoted to hell, curious to see where it goes.

Good coverage tho Brian, sorry for the wall of text 😅

  5. I had fun playing this game, I am thinking gamers have a bit to high of standards with launches, it's still a computer game, there are billions of possible PC builds out there to expect a game to just work flawlessly on them all on day one is a bit unrealistic, expecting a game to be made perfect seems a bit childish to me. So far it's no fallout 76. Also not punishing players for finding a bug and playing the game is a good choice. It's not the player's fault for finding it and also will make people more likely to speak up about bugs ^.^

  6. Nerf was painful for the Trixter. On the same build, I went from soloing CT13 to barely beating 10. After spending about 6k drop pods, I was able to get back up to 11. I’m actually ok with the twisted nerf, but am pretty unhappy about the Vulnerable and other skill drops.

  7. My issue isn't the nerfs so much. It's the lack of scope of how "balancing" works. When a game needs balancing, it usually means to bring down the overpowered and bring up the under-powered elements of a game. PCF just brought down everything and while that's ok, why wasn't the weaker stuff addressed at all? Specifically, I feel that some of the classes anomaly abilities are too weak and should have had a balancing pass as a result. A weapon-based build, even after the nerf, is still VERY powerful. But if you make an anomaly build, the burst damage numbers aren't high enough leaving you feeling weak in the higher difficulty activities. It's just baffling that: 1. They made massive nerfs a week after the game launched (but again, don't have an issue with most of them) and 2. They didn't actually balance anything. Needless to say that I was very disappointed not seeing any buffs in the anomaly area of the game.

Also, besides addressing the legendary loot glitch, why would they remove the ability to get legendary loot from redoing historian, side, hunt and bounty missions? This decision is really confusing to me. If people want to repeat those activities to farm for legendaries, then let them. Very strange decision making being done by PCF here.
