The last update has nerved both of my Heir to the Deserts from 74k and 86k to 47k and 56k. There is packet loss constantly going on during play yellow and occasionally red.playing on Ps5 with other Ps5 players around Australia.
For about 2 straight expedition runs, it was unplayable and then it was fine after that, maybe alittle wonky but fine
1st of december?…… Im on xbox and there is still glitching going on with outrider servers and connectivity to different players….More often than not when im trying to join and play with random people, There has been multiple instances where i go to join someone and than i get this error that says something about failing to join host than a black screen comes up with the outriders logo in the middle and i get booted back to the opening page where you see your character…. In my opinion outriders servers need to be strengthened there shouldn't be problems back to back to back when trying to join and play with randoms. P.S. In game stability needs to be looked at to im noticing a lot of hosts well playing in co-op games having trouble holding connections to servers always getting yellow and red bars flash on the screen, i have also lost connection to hosts that have had yellow and red bars on the screen during expeditions a few times because of this issue…. This game needs to work on there servers and the connectivity side of things.
Im on ps4 and i did not have connectivity issues other than at launch. But since this update ive had issues almost everyday. Even playing single player
Im on ps5 and was running with someone Russia(a random) and had connection issues but then last night I ran with a buddy who plays on PC but is in the east coast of the USA like I am and never had a problem.
P2P is obsolete and about as stable as Kang the Conqueror.
They should of gone for better quality connectivity and they'd pretty much have zero issues on their end.
Getting the bars but not seeing any issues in game whilst playing and I’m playing on my brothers crappy countryside internet at 30Mb compared to when I’m at home on my 300mb in a city this is based in the Uk. This is PS4 pro my side. I do think it’s Xbox myself as I’ve rarely had issues joining randoms or getting randoms for expeditions. Again I haven’t played this update on my mega fast broadband at home but at my brothers house in the middle of the countryside only getting maybe 27mbs internet I’m seeing very little issues on a PS4 pro a lot less than some of the pro YouTubers using next gen Xbox. If you like I will do a stream as well to show.

I'm on Xbox and the last 4 days I have had that yellow bar playing with a Playstation but I haven't played with any PC players and I live in the USA
I play on Xbox and have been getting alot of yellow bars, but I also have cross play enabled. I am in Eastern region of the U.S.
Generally enjoy since the update but Xbox one and PS4 connection issues are still there such as I tried using thermal bomb and got stuck in the animation and had to close the game down and re boot up
I'm in ps4 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I have 100mb service and an Asus Rapture Router with cat 8 cables and a high speed modem, so I really doubt it's on my end.. Problems get severe when I join in on others games. Mods don't work like they should so it's impossible to keep up my anomaly rounds even with perpeteaum mobile or however it's spelled. Then connection problems as well . Enemies dissappear in front of me as well as glitching too. Jeez I hope it gets fixed. 🙏
PS5 in Australia here. Was playing a few nights ago with partner on PS4 and a US friend on PS5. We got the yellow and red connection icon. It was pretty ok though. My partner did have about a one second lag whenever they used Devastator and used the leap move. Not significantly different than playing other games with them. Will try some match making over the next few days and see how it goes.
With all the new content this won't get me down at all no sir . I'm loving the New Horizon. I'm busy getting my Pryomancer & Trickster to lvl 50 for World Slayer DLC. I'm sure this will be fixed in no time though.
Xbox, Middle America, unplayable multiplayer, if you are willing to wait forever.
I have crossplay active though. Otherwise you would never get a match. Yellow is standard, red with large lag spikes and packet losses is common. My internet isn't an issue. I can play Overwatch with no issues. Still have log in issues.
Solo isn't too bad.
Boom town is still a little glitchy.
PS4 Pro, US EST. Definitely bad over here

I play on Xbox Series X in the US. Last night I did 15, CT 15 Expeditions via matchmaking. Of those 15,I had 3 party joining failures. Experienced several issues where my shots weren't registering – entire mag dump into one mob and I had zero damage numbers popping up on screen…and confirmed by the health bar not moving. The next issue was mobs suddenly teleported across the map while engaged with me Also had a disconnection from server on end boss fight, several host connection issues…then finally, as I said. I was doing CT 15's. Since the game was released. Last night I got an accolade for unlocking Challenge Tier 15 expeditions? LoL.
Have played the game several times since the update and was enjoying the new expeditions. That was till yesterday when I logged in and my character came up minus my primary weapon and to add insult to injury missing his boots and trousers!! Have logged a support request but nothing so far. Anyone else having similar problems?
Hi Cloud mate I am on Xbox series x and only play with my Son, we are in the same house and we get lag spots yellow connection and a few Red bars. Mobs stutter, even got stuck with devastate after gravity leap. We run Ethernet cable not wifi
It is not just connection issues for me, i have experienced glitches, bugs, and lag! The update played horribly for me. I have not played Outriders in several days because of it. Can anyone tell me if there is new loot worth chasing please and thank you!

First of December question mark
I'm in the UK, on a PS5 with super fast 500MB broadband. It's been pretty horrible for me since I jumped back into the game over the last few days. The lag is the worst thing because I never know when my skill timer has properly reset, as it's completely out of sync. That and enemies randomly popping up everywhere due to lag. Hoping it gets better.
On PS5 and yes I'm definitely having connection issues with friends

1st of dec? Lol personally i havent had any connection issues i play on xbox and my 2 main friends who hopped back in with me play on ps and pc and weve been really solid loving tge new contebt excited to see whats in store in the future
ok so dont know if this is still issue which made me stop playing this game before. i was playing story mode with gear that came with DLC and i got up to lvl 23 and the game glitched and i restarted game and i has lost my guns again like before. WTH is going on why does this keep happening. im bout to stop playing this again.

I have over 1000H in outriders and play on pc. With Crossplay ON its trash connection. When playing with just other PC players its better but still pretty bad. "In comparison to other games"…. my internet is 500 down and 300UP so its not that. I almost always have Yellow bars. Many times it comes with packet lose. Especially when alot os going on.
The only time its butter smooth for me is when i play as the host. But i normally dont as i tend to Pub matchmake alot.
I think your location must have alot to do with your results.
Further being on PC i can actually check to see what my ping is when connecting to others and the majority of the times its >120ms. This is Horrible. Ive almost never seen it below 100ms. Either your test results are too small or you just got lucky. It could also be your location. Its not people jumping on the band wagging. if you think that a large majority of players want to spend time posting on there connection issue and lag think again.
Has it improved since launch? Yes. But not when the horizon patch came out. It was months ago when these changes where made. The horizon patch changed Nothing for connection. For me or serval of my buddies across the world.
FWIW, not trying to talk down on consoles but when you're playing at 60fps i dont expect you to notice alot of the connection issues unless its really bad. When playing at higher FPS like 120FPS-240FPS it is very noticeable. Even when i dont have yellow bars or packet lose the game network is still bad.

I dont allow anyone in my game where i am the host "my internet absolutely sucks as it is crazy expensive to have a awesome connection" but i do join others and while i do have some lag "even in my own country" the game is very much playable. Most of the people i play with is on other continents and have way better connections than me. PC South Africa. 1st of December? If you want to know what a bad experience is like, join me sometime 🤣😅
I play on xbox ss in east europe (romania) and from the last update i never had problems with matchmaking and no bad conections. works wery well for my and i'm very hapy
I'm on PS4 and live in the US. Always have connection issues even though I have a very high internet speeds
Great video dude, what I can say from side is connectivity is 95% most the time. We did those Eye of the Storm carries on the weekend and I was offhost the entire time, had one strange issue with some misfiring skills but that's it.
Ps5 user here, now I'll be the first to admit I don't play that much but my connectivity issues stem when I'm stagnant like in my inventory or something else like that for too long it kicks me out, for me this has been my biggest connectivity gripe and has been a thing for a very long time.
I play on xbox in the uk, I have tried to join a few streamers and had packet and red bars.
I live in the US – Washington State specifically – and I only co-op with a friend in the same town. The connection is completely inconsistent. Some days it works perfectly, other days I am stuttering across the map with very low survivability. We never know if it’s going to be a good or bad day until we connect.
Series X, UK. 350Mb connection. So I came back to Outriders on the weekend after leaving due to the matchmaking issues….So here goes!
Logged in selected Matchmaking…..half a dozen "Found a group" then loading screen and back to matchmaking selection. then joined one halfway through chem, finished that then crashed to loading screen. several more attempts almost all resulting in (Loading screen then back to lobby) "False Starts" as I like to call them. And finally got into a group only to sit there for 15 minutes as one member was obviously afk….
All in all approximately 15 minutes of actual gameplay out of 90 mins+ logged into the game!
It's this kind of issue that really annoys me!! and I honestly enjoy the game! (when it's working)
So I downloaded Dead Space 2 and spent a few hours on that!
Ps4…us. Lag..freeze…dropped
