Outriders Devastator is a melee class that will struggle the most with bosses like the Molten Acari or the “Spider Boss” in the early Outriders campaign. This guide is for casual players who might struggle to beat the boss and want some tips that will make beating Molten Acari relatively easy.
I didn’t expect Devastator to become my main class in Outriders and I’m enjoying it immensely so far, but the melee-unfriendly bosses like the Molten Acari can spoil the fun and create quite a bit of stress for the players, becoming that first seemingly impassable obstacle.
I hope this little guide helps you regain the fun and keep going along the Outriders campaign!

Could the gravity leap skill have helped with your mobility, making it easier to get around the battlefield and stay out of the spider’s attacks?
Crazy fun fight, maining devastator as well!!
Healing mods help if you have any, let the small spiders get close and use your melee or w/e skill as they drop ammo and heal you. Apart from that everything you said/advised is spot on.
I've tried as devastator main solo WT7 lvl 16. I have failed every time using earthquake, gravity leap and impale. LMG with burn and double gun with health per shot. This has been the first time I've been tempted to reduce WT. You're right my ego has been bruised 🤣
Beat it level 8 world tier 5 lol not a very hard boss when you get used to it's moveset contrary to belief the second and third phase of this boss are easier than the first
Anyone playing devastator if you let the baby spiders get close and let them hit you it instantly heals you the reason this works is because it counts as a close quarter kill and also works especially well with the golem class skill
Does it drop acari set?
