Few more points I didn’t mention:
It is also confirmed by the outrider devs now that Marshal Set is getting buffed even in WS! They’re finally saying Endless Mass will be able to target everyone constantly which was a bane on the build. My own Marshal build Endless Mass is actually my least useful skill. I’ve sometimes thought the build would be better going all epic gear to obtain even more health and losing my one mod for endless mass to use for golem instead in its place.
That’s something to consider in changing it too depending on how it performs later…
But I haven’t yet because endless mass damage has still been decent enough to keep on him but also because using legendary sets over epic sets will make grinding far quicker in WS I’ve no doubt so let’s talk about that now.
This is something I’ve considered the last few days up to Worldslayer: some of my builds simply won’t benefit from triple mod gear as much as others. What do I mean? I mean take my statue and marshal build for instance…
There are currently very few if any other mods out there that my statue set build you’ve seen can obtain to help his damage much more. That’s because his main skill for doing damage gravity leap already has all the best mods.
In other words some of my builds are solely suited for 10 mods in build consideration. Now we know WS is adding more mods so maybe it will change for my statue build but the point remains: some builds will find easier luck in improving from triple mod loot and some builds may not be able to further improve AT ALL.
So going back to Marshal…look at my build on it in the last video and see for yourself….as good as it is (and good is an understatement I think) it’s still clearly lacking in so many mods that could improve BOTH its damage support and tanking.
Almost any other mods for Endless Mass would improve its debuffing drastically and we know that skill is improving come Worldslayer.
There’s also so many awesome boulderdash mods I could have on it I just simply couldn’t in designing such a 10 mod only build. And besides those even other tier 2 mods like Even Odds would help his tanking further.
So not only do we know Marshal is getting buffed and my current build for it has so much potential to improve from the new pax sub tree, but also my current build is such a build that can clearly improve from so many potential extra mods from apocalypse gear.
Finally and as I said, it uses a legendary set which is always an advantage as I’m certain come Worldslayer you’ll find so many more legendary pieces with triple mods on them than epic pieces. The fact is legendary gear is set in stone for its attributes, effect, and mods, that finding perfect roll ones with the extra mod you wanted will come far quicker. Epic gear by comparison will be COMPLETELY RANDOM if it’s how it currently is. Now I’m not jabbing that. I have all epic gear builds I love and still plan to use on the other classes like my trickster (or heck this techno!) in WS, but I’m just stating the facts…the game clearly wants players to use its legendary sets so they get priority in endgame loot.
