The last bit til this game releases is going to be tough
On launch am giving pyro fire ammo with overheath and the drainning power with A LOT of fire power or mix health and anomaly to tank and dps with fire ammo
Been using this exact formula to slam Captains tenfold lol Cheers

The fun part is to get multiple pieces of the same mod; they do stack!

My trickster kills the cap way faster.
Pyro main here. Burnout is amazing. I have close to 1000 kills on OG captain and 9 legendaries. The aerie master is hands down the best weapon to kill the captain with. Rush the captain, activate feed the flames to cancel his cast, activate heat wave on him to apply the additional 35% dmg from burn out mod on pants. Fire aerie master at captain, lifting him, and unloading the remaining 2 shells of the aerie while he’s airborne. As he is falling activate heatwave once more from tidal wave mod on your shirt giving you a second cast to reapply the 35% additional. At this point he should be less than half, as he goes for his second cast activate overheat to cancel cast and to regain a bit of health. Finally, reload your aerie or switch to any secondary and finish him while he has the additional 35% damage applied to him. I switch to the thunderbird because it’s absolutely broken, but another shotgun would work.
Pyro is God tier. I main one and have no issues farming anything.
Who here learned holding Thermal allowed you to target?
If you put on a vulnerability weapon that thermal bomb is a OHKO

How are devastators in the late game?
If you have lower gear and/or anomaly power and are struggling with this method on Worldtier 5 I found an easier way to kill the captain until you have better gear, just takes a bit longer. Kill the first sniper at the spawning point, then run near to the captain to agro him, run back to the spawning point and wait a few seconds, both lieutenants and the captain will follow, hit them with the same method when they round the corner and he's down in seconds. You can run back and take out the second sniper for more gear and then die.
I wasn't able to down him at all due to gear level until I found this option, works for me every time now.
Thank you. Inspired me to play the class again. Just a note… if you can’t kill captain on wt5 just kill both marksmen the drop blues. I did that and got a few pieces and now dominating with shit gear from the level above captain and killing him without firing a shot
Looks good. I think if you can find a standard rifle variant with vulnerable on it, you could probably get the pyro into the 3 headshot clear category with the trickster and tech. Next challenge: 7 or less headshot Gauss. Keep up the good work!
Everyone is saying that pyro is the weakest class but its actually a god with high anomaly power and has a pretty good heal

The thing I really like about this game is it’s going to be a lot easier to make a viable build. I struggle like hell in the Division 2 pvp.
I have 2 builds 1 for the og captain and 1 for the first captain

If you want to increase clear times use overheat such an underrated skill

Thermal bomb is just to unpredictable… I'll have it bypass the target in front of me and land on the enemy behind him like wtf?
Devi is the fastest?.. my trickster kills in 2 seconds or less?..
it doesn't even work for me.. I have the exact same mods and im doing it in the very same order..
I kill faster with just trickster buff and any auto shotgun
He had to write pyromancer big in the title so that Gravity-boy mains wouldn't know better in the comments.
