Devastator is still pretty limited for setups dedicated to outright damage, but this Seismic Commander Bleed Build is the best in that department. Deathproof does push out more damage in short spurts, but that is a bug, and will probably be patched soon.

You do Waaaay more damage with 3 impales striking 4 people rather than the gravity leap. You don't need "range" if there is no clock anymore. Imapale all day
I’ve been a Dev main since launch and came back since the update. I started a pyro once I got all the dev pieces I could get before and I think I prefer the pyro. The damage of the fazer beam tank is nuts.

i like this build cause there are just so many ways to customize and adjust how u wanna run it… Melee/no Melee, all the other replacements for Ground Crush, different weapon rotations or even using Reflect Bullets for less Survivability but up to 100% uptime of the Paladin Node… its just endless possibilities
It's easy to show top gear and weapons. I can do the same on destiny with all the exotics and equipment. I am a new player, so I don't have access to all the legendaries to build the best. The new player doesn't have access to the best equipment. Impress me with rare equipment and take enemies down

Well, you said it right off, you dont play dev and theres a number of minor things here I totes disagree with. Bleed duration is useless as things die faster than the ticks matter. Golem isnt needed with how much healing we get, so reflect bullets toggle on off is better and frees up that cooldown slot. Once bled, the leap with the debuff, then pop moaning winds and your swap gun with anom skill on it.
CT15s and Im always over 300m damage in 3s.
I do put melee into the rotation, and it is good for applying a free bleed for the other powers. Glad you did a highlight of this as this is what my Dev runs, and it’s without the moaning winds.

Great Build! I will adjust my Dev and see if this does as well. I am using 2 EarthQ and 4 Impales with fortress to buff then golem to boost… its pretty ugly but the chain is beautiful. This looks a bit more repeatable minus a few steps but…. will it Keel ?
Pro tip:
Empty the mag of your Anemoi, then switch back to your deathshield, fire off rounds, use skills, then swap back for 1 second, get the damage proc, then switch back.
It's way faster than shooting the anemoi to empty every time to get the damage proc.
I get roughly 280-365mil dmg in st 15 group or solo, usually roughly 5-9mil dmg block and 1-3mil healing. I can hardly ever Die as long as I use abilities. I also do not use golem so I can use grav leap and impale.
Thanks for the build. I think I’m done though. After grinding, and I do mean senseless grinding, I feel I have to tap out. The upgrade economy is terrible and way overpriced as if PCF are trying to prolong what little is there. I’m trying to level up my other characters but too frustrating and my L50 Pyro has yet to get more than 2 legendaries and even that its barely dropping 2. Out of say 20 runs, maybe 4 times I had two legos. The clearly nerfed the drop rates severely. I find I’m more frustrated playing this game than the others in my collection at the moment. Clearly much more work needs to be done with this game to be “fun”.
Try this same build but with pairing Strong Arm of the Anomaly with the talent Unstoppable Force (I would replace Captain Hunter). Hit a trash mob of 3-4 with a melee and your AP will be sky high. Build sits at 187k AP without any buffs.
Another great vid man, I ran this build on my dev from the start and is a great way to get started on the harder content moving through the game. Only issue I had was despair is a bit tricky to proc as doesn’t work with multiple hits before cool-down. I believe it only works on the first hit not the subsequent ones so can be a bit sporadic during play, or has this been changed?
Thank you for an alternate build. Im a Dev main also i dropped gravity leap when it was bugged and went to Endless mass. With the right mods it inflicts vulnerable, bleed, and amps anomaly damage. I find cleaning with it is super easy and 3 player ct15 is still easy. Now the fun part for me is Brood Mothers still just die if you use EM correctly.
I've been maining a techno build based on toxic damage but I've hit a wall at tier 9 expeditions. I don't have any legendary pieces. Is there a build I can use that doesn't require tier 3 mods?
Appreciate the build suggestion. Still working to get the necessary gear to get higher damage output. But bleed build (sans kit) with impale, tremors and earthquakes usually hits 200 million. I can solo 15s and I never go down. It’s rewarding to have dps machine techno’s join and get downed repeatedly and I’m just in three elite faces shrugging off everything. Slow and steady baby

Why is the melee build over looked…..
I had a devastator I played with doing 450 million damage plus per run. No idea what his build was but all his skills wrecked every enemy in seconds.
Is this a bug? Why is the T3 mod of quake giving +1 the same as a T1 mod with +1? Should the T3 mod not give +2?
Also can we please see a buff to the mighty tank skill? The silly 5% is a joke…

Just started game last night, rolled this class. This video is absolutely amazing!
I was attempting Eye of the Storm with a Dev. They used Grav Leap and the Relic that pulls everybody in, they were highly mobile and sustainable. We failed though because there was only two of us. Either way, they inspired me to make one.
I use reflect instead of golem. With reflect you can immediately shut it off which procs the faster cooldown and you still get the same AP buff.
i saw it from another video, use reflect bullets instead of golem, cast and cancel immediately, you get them back to cast again, you can keep the paladin node active all the time where you get that additional anomoly power instead of waiting for cooldown. 🙂 Hope this helps
Death proof gun build is deadly try it out
Don’t use GOLEM!!! Use reflect bullets. Cancelling the skill early gives 90% cd reduction for almost instant CD. Gives you the buff to AP 100% uptime.

I carried two lvl 49's through a CT 15 with this build. I did 227M damage neither of them did over 100M. Love this build. Also didn't know either of them. Just jumping into random games and helping people out.
Solid set up, I like gravity leap but been using other stuff. However with this set-up an mods I failed to notice. I’m looking forward to trying to get a set-up close if not altered a bit.

First off love you videos. Try using the Juggler with this build, but use it as a grenade launcher only. fire one shot then reload it. If they are bleeding it will hit for 1mil since it's anomaly attack, It's perfect for waiting on cool downs. So I just added Shadow Comet along with Scrap grenade, OMG!
There atleast 10 viable builds for dev hell i am almost un killable , true i dont crank out 1.5 mill a round but i can face tank any mob t15 or otherwise. and laugh .Usually i just pick up the dead.

You can also use the whole 5 piece Seismic Commander Set. Extra Quake & Ground Crush > Gloves and Second Quake & Untamed Power for the boots! Easier to get legendary than rare sometimes.
