  1. Just had another random pyromancer build thought. The middle tree leans heavy into fire damage. Combine the burn damage, burn duration, and ignite skills cool reduction nodes from that tree with heatwave, Volcanic Rounds, and faser beam with a good AR, perhaps the Voodoo matchmaker, and a high capacity lmg like the grim narrow. All the burn damage from each skill is increased as well as their duration extended. This makes Heatwave extremely useful as a way to apply burn to multiple enemies grouped together. Volcanic rounds allows you to apply the burn status to multiple enemies, regardless of postion, and when used with a high capacity lmg, allows you to apply the burn status to large groups of enemies. Faser beam can be used as a burst damage attack for higher health enemies, but still ignite the target as well those in close proximity to it with fire, which gives you a nice mix for crowd control, bossing, and healing.
You could also substitute faser beam with overheat. Alternate applying burn through heatwave or volcanic rounds, overheating them for extra damage and then using volcanic rounds or heatwave again when they come off cooldown to repeat.
Lastly, You use ash blast, feed the flames and overheat. This with cinders which makes overheat consume ash vs burn status. Feed the flames steals health, burns and inflicts ash. Combine that with Ash blast and overheat with cinders, and you'll inflict ash to large groups of enemies, steal health, and inflict extra damage with overheat to them all which also acts as healing.
