Outriders – this has to stop – modded lobbies will destroy what’s left of the game here guys and girls I go over a recent experience I had and explain why paying for runs and just modding in general is definitely not the way forward….I understand some people are frustrated games now days have seemingly boundless issues but especially modding and making others pay for runs……Reminds me of older times when people would sell resources like gold or even runs on destiny….definitely not the way forward.

I really had not realised how bad this truly was …. I can to an extend understand if people are doing this and playing solo on PC etc and It not affecting others but when your hosting lobbies and charging for the privilege and running people through….Really seems like a step back I saw this a lot in Older games such as World of warcraft and even Diablo 3 and Destiny I know it still happens now but really didn't think to this extent in a game such as outriders what are your thoughts on the subject?

I think it could be interesting to try it out on a spare gamertag to just experience what god mode in Outriders would be like.
I cannot see PCF objecting too strongly as it is not giving anybody access to Outriders with out purchasing the game.
We both know that if you have to cheat to make progress you have lost the fundamental experience that comes with building a character and skillset from scratch.
Hey Sofa I have good news!! I finally got the Deathshield last night and I got it after putting in my best game performance. Three Pyromancers all as good as each other and all using the same moaning wind switching technique, I've never completed expeditions at that speed before. Now all I need is a second one to break down for fortress.

Had a group join me in diablo3 and next thing after one run I'm max paragon level don't have any desire to play a diablo game or that type of game again and diablo was my favorite too.hopefully pcf can do something about it this game can be so huge for years to come

See I've achieved modded gear I don't have a modded lobby but I do every chance I get when I do get on there leave the party open so if people want to join they can and I will carry them through CT15 so they can actually get some of that gear that the damn development team is so damn stingy with if that's a problem you guys can go screw yourselves
This is a pve game. Who are we to tell people that spent their money on this game how to play it. Pcf ruined the game already. This game is on anthem status. The real problem is people not minded their own business. If I join a team that has mods don't mean I have to play. It's no big deal, this simply sounds like click bait for views. Just my opinion 😎

It's too late! I have a list of people that have joined my open lobby with modified guns that one shot everything. So many of them trying to rationalize using cheats without any thought for it destroying the game others paid for. PCF once again failed to keep their word about dealing with cheaters. The game is currently chasing Anthem into an unmarked grave.

I'm always a believer that all hackers and modders should be banned. No excuses people crying they don't get what they want or the experience they want as an excuse are true examples of spoiled brats.

If you feel the need to pay someone else to play any game for you, you feel like you just need end game super completes on everything now, you're cheating yourself out of the experience of playing a game. Any game. If you can't be bothered to play the game, watch twitch. There's plenty of people who play games for other people to watch, but I've run into these people for years in MMOs that have the achievements for end game content and have no idea how to do that content or even play their toon. They ruin the game for people who are there to play it and they don't care because their sheet says they have all the things, even when they really have nothing. Don't cheat, enjoy the process of the game, the end isn't nearly as important as the journey to get there.
after pre paying for this game and then not being able to play it for the first month, along with the wealth of other problems with this game. I have no issue with the molders doing whatever they please. the balancing is terrible, the mechanics are horrible and playing with a team is unbearable. No one should be charged for modded lobbies but those that do free carries, keep doing what you do…
Great overview, mate. For me, modding is irrelevant – if you want to play the game modded, no problem, PROVIDED you play solo or with your mates, NEVER in open game, and as for charging other players for modded runs, I am outraged, but in this current gaming world, not surprised. I suspect that if all modders left the game now, there would be very few people left still playing this game. In my opinion the root cause is PCF themselves – they did NOT make the occasional Boo Boo, they royally screwed up, and if they have been trying to make the game better, they are using very, very unusual methods, coupled with highly offensive PR. I have left the game twice, the first time when they let the cat out of the bag regarding the egregious 'Hidden Mechanics'. This was unforgivable – I contemplated the many dozens of hours I had been grinding mindlessly for gear, only to discover I had been wasting my time because of Hidden Mechanics and its various conditions, and then to to add insult to injury, that thing they call the communications manager comes out and says, well actually it's my own fault for NOT being aware of of stuff that was deliberately hidden from me and all players!!?? I came back when they changed the lego drop rate and did around 60 expeditions – 38 gold on tier 15, and got 4 items I had not got before – items of no use to me at all, and I am missing a mountains of gear and guns still. At this point the penny finally dropped – why am I doing this? So, if by some miracle I get all the stuff I want, what then? I can't go back to first part of the game, it being level 42, and the prospect of more mindless, endless, BORING grinding was too much – I quit for the second time. For this game to be in its current state is not acceptable, and what crumbs have we actually got? More legos, and most of it stuff players have already got – many times over. For me and my friends the coop connectivity issues are still rubbish, and just make the game unplayable – I am on PC, and this after 3 months of false promises and perhapses and maybes and just out and out BS, and fixes that break more than they fix. What is going on? and why is this still going on after 3 months – what on earth have they actually been doing, because it's not been working on this game? Forget about nonsense issues and irrelevancies, like modding. They need to focus and overhaul the game completely, make the first part of the game relevant by lifting the level to 50 or higher, so that what you get in the expeditions actually has a purpose to go back into the first part of the game, remove the time-gated rubbish in expeditions – a major reason why most players mod, or join modding lobbies, and give players new content, lots of new content. And stop harassing the tea-boy and the janitor to hurry up and fix their game, and get a new communications manager who has actually played the game from start to finished and has grinded expeditions endlessly like the rest of us. It gives me no pleasure to say all this – the game has so much potential and PCF need to start respecting their own game and all us players who are keeping their fingers crossed that they will focus and start getting things right. However, I have a horrible feeling not much will change as they are furiously working on other games, and as usual, we are being left in the dark – really hope I'm wrong on this. If I am, and meaningful changes occur, I'll be back. Meanwhile, playing Days Gone and Horizon Zero Dawn, both a real hoot. Cheers, Harry.
Modded lobbies is one thing but I play on xbox one and my game for some reason is crashing twice as much I just played two expeditions and it crashed twice

This is the 21th century…full of lies, cheaters and hackers in all things you can imagine and love or hate…that's the way it is…its a shame…ive 51 years old and i start to say…my time was better…like my parents do in their time and i hate to be like that but…its human…we are full of shit and we are extraordinary people at the same time…but we could be better if the people who provides us the stuff that we loved are not the same people who do things that we hate…
Im 100% agree with the comment i read…im no better…i was cheating on WoW to play in Corea when the game was not launch…and i regret it even now…PCF is just a company who makes money and dont care about the rest, like a trillions of others companies…so play if you want you are free but keep in mind, there is always a dark side in all things…im out…

Modded is what’s keeping players around. Nobody is forcing people to play. If you buy modded weapons……is was YOUR choice. I had on modded jumped in my game, didn’t mind. If i did mind, there’s a section called “kick out of game”. So everyone crying about modded lobbies, weapons, etc…….waaaaaaaaaaaa.
Keep up the grind my friend. I have had my 3 missing helmets drop since the last update including 2 x lava lich. All random locations as far as I can tell.
