This is one wild time, filled with surprises and rather wild twists that will seriously shock you along the way. A very interesting take on the games as services system being a bit of Gears of War meets Destiny.

Outriders vs Destiny Comparison of this really interesting space exploration based title where you’re trying to save a really messed up planet while being a legendary warrior in the process. The Earth has died, you’re going somewhere new but it seems like a fresh battle is just taking place as you gain powerful abilities in the process of weird storms. The end game content expeditions are a blast, looking for drop pods.

It’s definitely quite worthwhile, and most certainly a twisted ride to battle within. Use special abilities to thrive in this new world as you try to bring some level of freedom to a forsaken humanity.

It’s got some intense narrative moments, a gripping setup and also really cool abilities to unleashed upon opponents. Play along in single player, or work with others in coop multiplayer to take on various enemies within a PVE scenario. It’s wild, expansive and potential a really expansive offering if things go well. The ultimate best Outriders vs Destiny Comparison.

  1. To be fair destiny is a much older game thats had alot of dlc released.I think that this time next year you can make a better comparison.Im another person who thought outriders looked OK at best.I haven't played anything other than outriders amazing game.

  2. They both suck. Looter shooters need to die. Its repetitive and boring. Spam hold trigger button for few minutes and soon all enemies die. Enemy damage does nothing to you. Crank up difficulty and take cover then spam shoot for few more minutes mindlessly. It takes no skills and all fights are the same. Its not spontaneous and has no variation to overcome fights or obstacles like pvp

  3. I can’t really get into outriders because of the story and writing and the vocals, it’s all really cheesy I even rather play D1s story that was pretty much nothing lol than the outriders one

  4. I can tell you haven't played alot of Destiny…. I mean you said strikes are end game lol. No mention of exotic quest, dungeons or community events.

Also Outrides has been out for not very long, just wait a month when you have run out of loot to collect and are bored of the same expeditions and content.

You mentioned that you felt in destiny you were fighting the same enemies, yes each season/expansion focuses on a certain enemy race but Destiny has far more enemy races and enemy types.

I seen more objective comparison from Destiny focused channels.

  5. Have been a Destiny fan for years but recently am starting to get really bored with the grind. Checked out Outriders on PS5 and wasn’t prepared to lay out the money without trying it first (bonus points to D2 for F2P trial game). However, as I also have a Series S I got Outriders on Game Pass. I’m only a few hours into it and being a senior player I found it quite tough. I love the storyline so far but like Destiny there’s not a lot of explanation as to what your powers do and how to use them; it’s a lot of trial and error. But what a great game! Very different to D2, but a similar mechanic. I can’t really say yet which is best; it’s like asking whether gin or whiskey is better when you like both. All I know is I’m looking forward to getting deeper into the game.
