Outriders is an upcoming third person RPG Looter Shooter that’s gotten a lot of early comparisons to titles like Destiny, Division, Warframe or Remnant From The Ashes.

The game features 4 classes with unique skills, passives, and playstyles. Plenty of gear to collect as you chase certain stats, traits, and rarities. A wide variety of locations to explore, monsters and bosses to fight. Scaling difficulty progression via world tier system. Character customization. And a fully voiced story campaign.

  1. 160+ hours in the Demo. I've played Warframe, Destiny 2, Division 2, BL2, and Remnants. Outriders is as good as any of them already. The full game will likely push it ahead. One solid DLC and it'll blow them all away.

  2. It's weird that they say not to use cover. I must have been doing everything wrong, because I spent about seven hours with the demo and I definitely wouldn't have gotten anywhere without cover. Get gud, I guess. RIP me.

  3. I cam here to say you 100% sold the game for me. I thought the beta was alright but after watching this I will be getting the game

Not going to preorder as I never preorder

  4. I got a question. Do you think the future is bright for outsiders, one of my biggest dislike in destiny 2 was the latest dlc had a op subclass and if you didn't buy the add ons playing PvP can be really frustrating. With outriders being just like the loot and grind I can definitely see this happening.
Loot games lean alot on pay to win for the most part and that turns me away from a good game

  5. Feel like this game is going to either hit later on because like me, I won’t buy this until I see full gameplay footage and can fully decide for myself if it is good or not, or it’s gunna do very well and have a lot of players dropping out quickly after. It looks weirdly limited like expeditions seem to be it?

  6. Here is some perspective. I play on pc but at 9am I will be in surgery getting my leg sliced open. So I have to wait more then 9 hours. So nine hours isn't that bad.

  7. I Hope its gonna be hard, im so tired of destiny retarded end game, pointless farming weapons that dont matter in 99% of content plus dailys force you to use weapons that u dont like in activities that you compete for kills with your teammates

  8. Tbh. This just looks like it is going to be one giant pass. The demo story is super bland, and the cutscene frenzy is too much. But imo the biggest red flag to me was seeing the end game content focused around speed running the end game stuff to get better loot…….all that leads to is cheeses plays, a meta that demands one playtime for efficiency, and overall just boring af and tedious. Instead of overcoming a difficult obstacle, you're just tasked with finishing it as quickly as possible or nothing good. Oh well

  9. 60 bucks for a fully fleshed out game that isn't being launched as a live service game is fine. I'm not sure how you think its a lesser game. In the shooter market they charge 60 bucks for slightly better graphics on a yearly/bi-yearly basis.

  10. Good stuff Mr Force. 🙂 Really hoping this is a big hit! We need it in the loot shooter genre since everything else either sucks or will lack content for a long period of time.

  12. The Internet right now:

Marvel Avengers: barely anything known about it up until release, campaign 11 hours. charge $60, Sure why not.
Destiny 2: Takes away half their game in Beyond Light. Charge $40, Sure why not.
Godfall: "yOu lIkE GaMe, mE MaKe gAmE". Charge $60/$70, Sure why not.
Outriders: Offer Demo, Offer full game on release with 40 hour story, Lots of info on the game and New IP. Charge $60 ehhhhhhh that's too much! I'll pass.

Oh, How far we have fallen.

  13. All Ik is that the DEMO got number 2 on the top 10 steam game charts but people still talk shit and come to outriders videos just to be toxic. The game is gonna be a hit 🤣. Set the bar for new games in the genre. People who don’t like it well to bad it will be a hit wether you think it’s ass or not😭💀

  14. It shows promise; seems like they have the basics in check like customization, combat and loot, but we will have to wait if all has good cohesion with the end-game or not.

  15. Pros:
The game play is really satisfying. Nothing is more fun that turning an enemy into a red cloud of blood.

Loads of ways to build your character from skills to gear, theres a play style for you.

    Very interesting setting.

Turning up the difficulty gives you better rewards, like torment levels from diablo.

    Cons:
The game feels like it holds your hand a lot in the begining. (Let us figure things out)

Shakey cam for every cut scene.

Cut scenes for almost everything. (We don't need a cutscene when we talk to a vendor or open a door)

Dialog is very weak in some places and the character you play is an asshole.

The tone of the game is very weird, its clearly quite a serious setting but then you have bad guys/player character say shit that could be straight out of borderlands.

I know i mentioned more bad things tham good but they're all very minor. The main thing is the combat is very fun and it feels very rewarding getting an upgrade.

  16. Yo i'm not sure why but sometimes your mic legit hurts my ears. I've noticed it in the past couple vids. It's like that goosebumps eerie nails on chalkboard feeling. Prolly just something wrong with me but thought I'd mention it for no reason at all 😛
