Outriders Will Be On Game Pass – The Reaction Was Not What I Expected

Outriders has been very popular amongst the MMO RPG / Destiny crowd, but everyone was wondering if it would come to game pass after some cryptic teases. The answer turned out to be yes as it was announced today for Xbox Game Pass, but Outriders will not be on PC game pass causing a bit of a surprising reaction. Here are my thoughts on the latest news, and why PC fans are probably unhappy that they’re not getting in on the game for cheap.

  1. As a Game Pass PC user I understand why the game didn’t come to PC. Game Pass on PC is cheaper and therefore has less content than the console version. Xbox as a brand will always focus more on their consoles over anything else and there’s nothing wrong with that. I’m just glad that they are actually doing something for PC players nowadays and most importantly that they finally brought Halo MCC to PC.

  3. I remember when I was selected for the Game Pass bêta testing… my friends didn't believe me and where like "Dude it would be an amazing service IF IT WAS REAL !" now they're all subscribers.

  4. I don't need to own a 10hr title, the only ones I tend to own are behemoths like the ES/FO series, fighters, fromsoft and shootie games like overwatch.

So basically if I can't get like 100hrs out of it I won't buy it, so gamepass is the perfect solution and since Xbox owns bethesdia, Starfield and ES6 will never leave so I won't have to worry.

Owning is nice, but I don't need to own a short title for $70 not when doubling that can get me gamepass for a year.

  5. Honestly, XBOX seem to have acknowledged from early that their new gen consoles wouldn’t sell as great as the PS5, so they turned most of their focus on Gamepass and holy shit! You can’t beat the value that Gamepass has man. Damn.

Some people are just trying to find any and everything to complain about. I’m just enjoying what’s going on

  6. Why when xbox box does something that is good and exclusive to it, it gets hate ? Yet when PC or ps do it there get praised ? Yet the same people are the ones that give xbox shit that it's got nothing exclusive to its self ? 👌👈👌👌

  9. Also the console war is stupid we should unite as gamers and say we don't want exclusives just cross platform games. By all means bring the last of us over to xbox and port Bethesda games to ps5 who cares what system you're on console, pc or cloud. Let's just game

  10. I was gonna buy outriders for PS5 but since it's on xbox game pass it changed my mind. I'll play the full game & see how's the experience before I make that purchase.🥂😎

  11. Game companies want people to pay subscriptions to play games, game pass is the first step on that road. In a few years, we won’t be able to own games anymore, only rent them from shitty subscription services like game pass…
