Nikola's Revenge is hands down my favorite weapon mod. I have it as an apoc mod on a charred lance, and obviously death ray on the 1st slot, and I crafted string of gausse on my 2nd slot. On my turret techno I occasionally will go bottom tree pax for the unlimited ammo from turrets, and I will stand next to them and continuously hold down the trigger until the whole room is dead. It isn't uncommon for me to do a solo run and have Nikola's be my #1 damage source for the run.
