OUTRIDERS WORLDSLAYER is TOO LITTLE, TOO LATE



Outriders Worldslayer is the major expansion to Outriders that came out just a month ago. Although it adds multiple new types of enemies, biomes, legendary weapons, story, and endgame, not much of it is that great. Of course, that’s totally subjective but during my time with the game, it felt like a major waste of time. The new story content barely filled up 3 hours of gameplay, and the new endgame certainly didn’t make it worht 40 dollars.

The game isn’t as dead as it used to be, but the resurgence of players is sure to be depleting over the next few months as they realize no new big content drops are coming.

  1. This game is the definition of incompetence. Everything in this game is mediocre or is "the worst implementation" in a looter shooter. Anthem was one of the worst looter shooter ever made, but this game probably is even worst. Another "masterpiece" from Square enix.

  2. Been waiting for this thanks! I would probably pick this up for. Heavy discount. The main thing I don't like about the game is the maps, it's really flat with no verticality. Also the cover is a death wish.

  3. They're insane if they think I'm spending $40 on a game that STILL has game breaking bugs on the PS4 version. No thank you. Save that money for Elden Ring dlc instead.

  4. I got Outriders for preorder. Man, I regretted it. It's so repetitive. But I like the idea of it not being live service though. No microtransactions was a huge plus. There are just design problems from the mobbing to snipers never losing sight that were aggravating. Plus nerfing all the characters. That's why I never bought this overpriced expansion. And I heard that the grinding is just over the top with this release. Cheers.

  5. what is it with squenix and trying to push these? failure after failure but they keep announcing more, i'm sure there's still a few in the pipeline. honestly i don't care much what squenix does but it is quite perplexing

  6. The advices you said about the roguelike (like having all enemies in room poisonnous or double enemies half life and so on) may not have been made because of story-telling reason.
    don't know about the enemies but a poisonnous bird out of nowhere would put the universe setting in the trash can.
    And since i heard you each time, it looks like they tried really hard on story telling (but failed because they put in too much which made it boring…)

    And again, I don't know, I only watched your video. Neither a fan of this game or looters in general.
