Outriders – Yagak Boss Fight

Outriders – Yagak Boss Fight / Solo Pyromancer Playthrough Boss #6. Just a quick video of part of my first playthrough of Outriders, the Yagak boss fight. Details below.

Really liked the design of this boss fight and it being up in your face most of the time. Other than it feeling a little buggy with the attacks and randomly teleporting, it was a cool design. This will be the last of the boss videos for a little while. Have played for ages and this is as far as I am, there’s loads to do in the game. Will keep up with the boss series as I get further, eventually moving onto all the expeditions and revisiting all of the bosses in the usual no hit way. For now this is all I’ve got though!

A huge thanks to the Outriders team for allowing me to be part of their Ambassador program and getting to check the game out early.

Outriders is an RPG shooter with brutal powers and intense action, deep RPG mechanics, and a compelling story set in a dark sci-fi world. The game can be played in single player, as well as true drop in drop out co-op for up to 3 players and cross platform play is also possible to team up with friends on different platforms! Think Aggressive: While you can play Outriders as a cover shooter: the more stationary you are, the more vulnerable you are. Enemies will aggressively flank and rush you. Don’t be afraid to move around, get into close combat, and throw down like the super powered god of the battlefield you are.

PC setup:
MSI MPG Z490 Mobo, i9-10900k CPU, RTX 2080 Super GPU, 64GB DDR4 3200 C16 Ram, 1TB NVMe M.2 SSD, 8TB HDD

  1. I had to lower my world tier from 9 to 7 just to beat the guy. It is so incredibly hard to aim and hit criticals due to the 30fps and awful aim acceleration

  2. This guy was an absolute ASS to fight but I had to fight him at true level for what he did to Jakub, and I will make sure I get strapped for the next time I see his ugly face

  3. Tip: If you are on trickster use twisted rounds on a auto shotty and when he bubbles disrupt that and use your bubble and DPS, repeat. I did it on WT8 solo 4th try. You got this bois🙏

  4. I beat Yagak at level 27 now I cant seem to level us. The expeditions are too difficult and said quests give like no XP. Any help with his issue? Not too mention I keep getting disconnected like crazy now going back and playing old side quests

  5. It took me a few tries to beat him at difficulty 10, but I finally got it. Pretty much run until he summons his shield or lightening. Ngl I liked the challenge but why the hell would you put the checkpoint before the cut scene and not after? so irritating.

  6. Just beat this clown on WT11. Worst boss fight ever. Using the pillars helps but overall it's such a bad design. I nearly fucking rage quit because it's so horrible.

  7. You need specific sets to beat him otherwise it's just dodge fest broken fight where you rarely get to attack him and got like 30 minions on screen that a few of them get stuck because of how many are on screen.

  8. 7 months later & still hard at world tier 8 , get life down to 25 % or less & you get melee killed through the columns and the lag spikes are ridiculous. The game has a really bad problem with this when you define death with the way healing works. The more you stay alive the more it happens, I personally have tired about 12 times now and lowering my world tier is the only thing that seems to make it easier to progress in the game.

  9. I have been playing the game with the highest world difficulty automatically and I had arrived to level 13 but I cannot do anything. I am afraid I am gonna have to lower the difficulty for the first time ever. 😞

  10. He's not a hard boss regarding his pattern. The problem is he done insane levels of damage. You get hit 2-3 times and you're dead. It's easy to get hit once, staggered, and be helpless to prevent death. What makes it worse is that you have such a short window to attack him because he teleports and spams his short and long range attacks. That, and you're always avoid minor minions as well. You can't take your eyes off him.
