#Review #Outriders #PS5
Outriders (PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S/One) is a looter shooter set on an alien planet. This review was created during New Horizon but before Worldslayer (which is released in June). 2022 is the year to try Outriders!

For slandering Destiny, I'm unsubbing.
Joking aside, I don't think Destiny is a fair comparison to Outriders. I know they're both loot shooters but that's where commonality ends. I literally bought Outriders thinkng that they were similar, only to be disappointed with what Outriders presented.
I'm not trying to defend Destiny in anyway, I'll be the first one to admit that the new light experience is absolutely atrocious. I've had many conversations with several friends new to Destiny, where I essentially helped pick up the pieces and present it in a way they can understand. Once you invest in Destiny and give it a chance it all starts to make sense although saying that, Bungie shouldn't be relying on the Destiny community to fill in all the gaps for new players. You need to remember that both games are at different points in their life cycle. Destiny is a far older game.
Once I set aside my expectations, I actually found that I enjoyed Outriders, story was still very linear and uninteresting but the combat is where it shines.
