The patch to update the "demo" is not out yet they changed the loot on their end
Its cuz the save system kinda sucks.. same thing happened to me, now i always run back out of the area or even travel back to base, then back to the farm spot to trigger a save as soon as a legendary drops. They really need to add a manual save option.
I guess the bright side is they found it while everyone was lvl 7 instead of 30
The drop rates are so bad. I farmed for probably over 8 hours and only got 2 legendary guns. It's not worth it. Just wait until the game comes out. Also i have had guns dissappear from my inventory as well. Thia game is fun but buggy as hell.

You can still Farm but just have the items equipped because items you have equipped they are not affected by the issue great I sound like Bungie
It's so f*** up that you are the only content creator talking about this major problem thank God I didn't say issue.
You can't imagine if somebody farms for a legendary and it disappears. imagine 80% of the people who play this demo they play over 50 hours and they never once got a legendary to drop that's even more f*** up.
Hopefully they can fix this. Or figure out a way to give up back our gear. This would immedietly stop me from playing this game. Hands down
Well I only got one legendary equipped so farm on
You can prevent this by equipping the legendary then going to lobby then close the game and opening the game again.

I lost the grim marrow light machine gun myself was not happy it took me almost a week of farming 4-5 hrs a day for a week to get only 2 legendaries and I lost one when I left and came back the next day thank goodness I had the one equipped!!
I'm excited for this game and loved the demo but if you grinding for loot right now something is wrong with you. There is literally no content, you're forcing it.
I’m not wasting my time not worth it until the game comes out that is too much grind for nothing because we will have two destroy them legendary‘s for the MOD once we get to a higher world tear so basically world to your file legendary will be nothing when we reach a higher level
I don't know I got all ten legendaries this weekend and the way I kept them was after I got a legendary I finished the mission turned it in and went to the lobby and joined back and it's saved
what I do is complete the mission in what I get the legendary, then after save go to lobby, close my game and start again,no legendary or gear missing so far

after farming for so long… I'm done till game releases
I have the same problem!!! The game crashes and I lost my legendaries after hours of grinding

Yup…lost 5 in the 2 day span I ran……seems if you get too many too quickly…they "surprising" vanish. Seems funny how the main loot…stuff people want to grind is what disappears.

Damn that sux. The first two I got were a 377 Grim Marrow and a 343 Rarog's Gaze which will both be useful for the Techno build I plan to make. I've been playing for less than two weeks but have put in 59 hours. If I lost my progress I would lose my shit
I got matched with some dick using cheats and the game kicked us said I was caught using cheats, but was able to log right back on
My god I hope they fix this if I lost one after all that grinding I will go crazy

5 legendaries with only 6 hours. he straight up cheated. ive farmed for over 40 and still havent even gotten 1 from the captain's. i even can clear the captain, snipers, and breachers in 25 secs
Noticed i was 1 lego short today, a few minutes later it dropped again
I hadn’t watched any videos on this and I thought outriders was some legendary shotgun or sumn from D2 lol
You can still farm for Shards and do Accolades. Its ok if you lose your Legendaries. You’ll get plenty in the endgame at Tier 15. I’ve lost one as well.
