  1. For technomancer it isn't necessarily coldsnap that makes you hit hard. It's the combination of mods and set pieces that get you through the content.

    Here's my build for example

I'm using the legendary Borealis Monarch 3 piece set which gives me 90% increased damage to enemies that are frozen and the attributes are static so I'm never worried about them. On my Head and Leg armor i have 8000 firearms, 10% close range damage 10% long range damage.
    My armor mods
Euthaniser: 25% more damage against enemies afflicted by Toxic
Bloodlust: Killing shots increase firepower by 17000 and can stack up to 3 times for 10 seconds
Toxic lead: killing shots on enemies afflicted with toxic replenish 40% of ammo in my magazine
Icicle storm: Killing enemies frozen by cold snap make them explode dealing 250000 damage in a 5 meter radius
Captain hunter: Damage against elites increased by 25%
Freezing Boost: Damage against freeze targets increased by 15%
Shatter: 25% increased damage against freeze targets
Ice component: Blighted turret does freeze instead of toxic
Sharp eye: Killing enemies while ADSing gives me 16000 firepower for 20 seconds and stacks up 3 times
Radical therapy: deals 15% more damage against enemies afflicted by toxic. Those are all my ARMOR mods

    My weapon mods
Ultimate freezing bullets: shots inflict freeze on enemies (1 second cooldown)
Dark sacrifice: my health in combats drains up to 50% in exchange for 75% weapon damage.

It's a lot of damage and i can substitute the freeze turret mod for an armor mod for more survivability but i rarely have trouble because I'm doing 2-3 mil crits and freezing enemies all around me and because toxic enemies replenish my ammo my blighted rounds never stop.

Mod synergy is what you want to be able to compete in the endgame and also you're a technomancer so a lot of the big hits are from further away than close up. For instance if I'm in their face I'm only doing 20% increased damage, but if i stay somewhat further back I'm doing 95% increased damage ontop of all my other damage % increase mods.

  2. I carried my fiance through a tier 15 Expidition and got her around 65k drop pod resources. She had just started the expeditions so her tier was lower. One single expedition and she was able to get the guns she wanted, as well as a full gear set. Since everything cost her a bit over 100 drop pod resources she could also get the vast majority of the mods just using Tiago.

  3. Jeebus there is so much inaccurate information here.

The vendor’s name is Tiago – not Santiago.

If someone else hosts, and carries you, your personal challenge tier, not world tier, stays exactly the same. So if I carry you on a CT15, and we get 40k resources, you can still spend them with Tiago and buy your lvl 35 gear that costs you a few hundred.

Expeditions are not timed, so you don’t need to run around and kill everyone as quick as possible. You can, if you still want to. Or you can build yourself to be more like a tank and take your time.

Resistance helps with anomaly/elemental damage. Armor helps with bullets/physical attacks.

If you get to CT 12, and can’t beat it, change your build – try different skills and different class nodes. Maybe your play style/setup sucks.

    Get good, scrub.
