Humanity’s efforts to colonize the alien planet Enoch were… thrown off track when the team encountered a massive energy storm, known as The Anomaly.
This storm transformed the planet, including its newly arrived occupants, and now they are stuck… fighting among themselves.
Outriders is a third-person RPG shooter, coming out in April 2021.

Think I’m going to give this one a pass. Stepping away from The Division 2 now and people are saying try this game, but the look, feel and world remind me of Destiney and Anthem, which is why I’m going to pass on it.

I feel the lore would be a bit more effective if there was only one apocalypse. Why not start the narrative off with mercenaries exploring a new death-world they just arrived at? Instead of having humanity leave Earth, go to a new planet, have ANOTHER separate apocalypse happen, and then wake up 30 years after THAT's come and gone. It doesn't really matter how much the anomaly has changed things on this alien planet, since the player has no knowledge or connection to the world before the anomaly. It's just… Backstory Bloat. Or something.
Hire this guy for narrating. Also this game sounds soooooo goooooooooood I hope it doesn't end up like ANTHEM…hopefully
