  1. thank you guys again for your support of my content recently – and to all of you who have stuck around over the years! it's unfortunate that as you grow on YouTube it becomes impossible to know everyone personally, but just know that you aren't just a number on an analytics page to me! have a great day everyone, God bless 🙂 I'll be giving out that Steam code soon!!

  2. I came here to watch a video an ‘informative’ video about Outriders and not a bitter complaint about Destiny, so I left within minutes…

  3. I am absolutely hooked. This game feels like Gears of War and Diablo had a baby. The game isn’t perfect but one thing I appreciate about it is that it know it’s a game and owns it. Many games try to create environments that make you feel like you aren’t playing a designed level but end up suffering because of it. This game designs combat arenas for you to fight in. The game itself in the tutorial messages refers to the areas as “Arenas”, it feels self aware in ways many games aren’t.

Love all your videos and your humor tickles me, hope to see more coverage of this game going forward!!!

  4. In my opinion the game looks good, but definitely not worth of 59.90$ pre-purchasing. I would rather say wait some time for things to be improved and for discount.

  5. I SINCERELY hope the whole game isn't going to be as linear, or as boringly brown and Grey as the demo is. Gameplay is entertaining and the story is interesting, but so far it's bland and kinda one note

  6. I slogged through about 2 hours and the division is more a comparison than anthem, the lack of freedom of movement is super off putting for me, you feel like you simply can’t breathe at the best of times.

  7. Sweet!! Happy to hear about your stream. I felt overwhelmed by npcs, but is just me after playing The Division where you relay on the use of cover, so yes I agree on the counter-intuitive style that the game want you to play.

  8. Really well video but I have to say one thing that point you made at the end might throw off potential people who might join the looter genre due to this game, mainly due to my personal experience of these types of games where I didn’t like the gunplay of many looters and it kinda only boiled down to grinding which I have grown to like but was the reason why I initially distanced myself from these games but unlike those games this game’s gunplay and abilities really add to the chaotic fun of just playing a game while grinding on the side so if anything I would say that it would attract those who don’t like the looter genre but could potentially like it as result of mainly focusing on gameplay.

  9. I played Outriders.. the story is just so bad and too generic.. the gameplay is fine but I always feel surrounded and have to run away and my guns weren’t that powerful it’s like they’re focusing on abilities only.. the story is basically that you were normal some kind of storm happened gave YOU and no one else who got hit by the storm some powers and then you got betrayed by the cooperation you were working for and then you got injured in action and to heal you your crewmates cryo froze you during the war and you woke up couple of years after that finding that everyone is old and you’re still young and now YOU need to end that war between the aliens and humans… ta! Da!!
I can let a kindergarten kid make up a better story tbh.

  10. I played the Outriders Demo yesterday as a Trickster, and I would agree that it really lacks when it comes to boss fights. Although, what has been working for me is having a “spam gun” like an smg or lmg as your primary and a shotgun as your secondary. This allowed me to use the hunt prey ability to get behind the boss, and then use the slow trap and “spam gun” to burst down the boss. I used the sword ability and shotgun to kill adds at close range for healing.

  11. @Timbo for the boss fight against Gauss it almost essential to have a gun with life steal as you get a percentage of the damage back as health. Also weapons that can give the status effects of weakening and vulnerability help a ton for boss fights. In close quarters the mod called stiffening can slow your targets had it on an smg that gun slapped. Also blue armor has mods that affect your skills some of them give you extra armor/health per kill with your abilities. Also the devs want you to play aggressively so think of cover as a mechanic for the enemies mainly even though technically you can use it too. Hope this helps.

  12. I can say that even though this game is not perfect, even though I am not even entirely sure how I feel about it, I am going to buy this game. I'm going to buy it to support practices like this. Rather then a cinematic trailer, rather then a game play trailer of the good bits of the game, they gave us the game. The actual game. They let us see the good and the bad, and make an informed decision on whether it is worthy of our hard earned money. I will support a practice like that any day. If more companies did this, it would lead to better games. Developers would be held to account by gamer's before they were able to make a quick buck at our expense on launch day, from uninformed purchases, based off misleading advertising, and developer biased gaming review practices.

  13. I liked the anthem videos as I always wanted to get into the game but it was something I looked forward to but couldn't get into until much later due to work and time constraints. I finally got the game only for it to be empty =<. so I appreciated watching the videos to get some idea of what it was like.

  14. I kinda like the story, it's kind of a mix of The Expanse and Mass Effect but more realistic, at least for the lore, since they've used nuclear power for the boosters of the Flores and not some newly found unlimited power source for fast travel and to what happened to Earth is not something far fetched, also the planet Enoch is way too much "earth-like", they could've mixed a bit of Avatar in there, i mean in the prologue the vegetation and some of the animal sounds are too similar from here on Earth, and there's even some pelican looking birds when you reach the first beacon, besides that there's only the space cows and the big alien AT-AT and the anomaly, and yes i know its just a game and not a movie so they probably won't focus too much on these things, but i hope that we could see some zones with rgb flora, i couldn't see much in the trailer at the end of the demo and there's some desert and frozen places and some weird looking animals but it seems a bit generic.

And i liked the gameplay too, i haven't played gears of war, the division or destiny or any of those games besides borderlands and warframe, borderlands is its own thing (kind of) and warframe went downhill and i don't wanna know anything about it after spending nearly 1000 hours in it lol, so this gameplay is a bit new to me.

  15. In my eyes every class is balanced very well I’m a pyromancer main for sure and he seems to be more like a solo class since he can revive himself every 180 seconds and the videos that I have watched of yours are all good and all very informative I’d probably say that if there’s a new thing to happen to a game I’ll definitely watch your content first due to u give it a full analysis before u say anything about it unlike some other people.
