  1. I personally don't understand why anyone is talking about Mage's Rage or various pax Nodes…? The Real Elephant in the room is. The Horrible Legendary & none Legendary Apoc drops. None of the weapons or armor that drops should be None Apoc. I mean that's the whole point of this New content. The Anomaly Extract drops in such Tiny quantities as well. The Experience earned is atrociously low to get to Apoc 40. And very few people are acknowledging the fact that mods are Apoc Level gated. Not too mention the Expeditions barley drop Apoc gear let alone Legendary Apoc items. So it's down to grinding Tarya Gratar over & over. Boring 😴

  2. How can they think there is a problem with mages rage when it still takes ridiculous amounts of time to get up the tiers. They obviously need to buff other mods so we have a choice of other mods to use

  3. If they start nerfing stuff before they sort the bigger issues like the only "worthwhile farm" trials route 1 to arbiter, farm last arbiter 3 times. I'm out for good, and you know how much I play the game. I've already put the game down till I see this patch and what it brings. I was super keen for the potential to mix up story, trials, EOS, monster hunts etc but there is zero point in any of this over trials. Now the honeymoon phase is over and the reality of grinding 6 characters through apoc by fighting the arbiter 5-6 times per run (I forget with how tedious it is). Yes I know we are not suppose to farm with the lives but even without that 1 trials run has you fight the same boss fight 3 times… just plain lazy copy paste design IMO. I adore the game and thought loot was getting to a pretty good spot with the removal of timers and the expos being time spent in them etc but they just undid all the good work with how the apoc grind turned out. The ratio of Apoc gear vs pointless regular leggos and purples is way way off. I ran a Trials the other day at 33 and 3 of the chest drops had 0-3 apoc and 10-15 regular drops (materials essentially) the least rewarding looter shooter experience I have had in a very long time. Guess what the last game to disappoint me this much in terms of time played vs rewards was……. Anthem.

  4. Currently, Mages Rage fix won't change anyone's build all that much. I rarely proc mages rage in most of my runs and I wipe the floor with enemies including bosses. It needs to be fixed to boost AP 40% and not the 80% it currently gives.

    My build isn't even meta yet, but I can deal damage without the rage. I am specced into armor piercing and mods that boost AP, which is why it's great even before you use mages rage. Returning Rage to is listed boost will still give you the best mod hand down for AP builds. No resistance against the fortified is a great mod which add long as you hold the weapon that boost your AP based on the conversion of resistance piercing/armor piercing. I enjoy this mod interaction, which I think was the original idea of mods PCF wanted. Experiment and combine skills, mods and play to become formidable.

    I'm in love with Devastator currently. I don't know any anyone else but I feel like a mini juggernaut, just leaping into enemies and laying everyone out, blood and guts everywhere, so therapeutic.

    I'm still confused with weird mechanics that make no sense, such as the climbing/vaulting which looks like a regular human and not a super human in action, it's goofy.

    Right now PCF need to add a horde mode to the game. Infinite-ish survival or perhaps a story that has you playing through history of Enoch when they were fighting but nothing you do affects the future but you can collect resources in abundance as things are 1000 years in the past.

    I don't think the balance patches really cause people to leave due to fixing problems. I think a lot of people leave because there is little to actually gain in playing the same content that much in short order. Trials is artificially long got no good reason, I'm sick of those loading screens honestly. They lowered the damage output on day 1 of Worldslayer and we're still overpowered currently, the AI blatantly cheats and we're still mopping the floor with them. My money is on the content itself, the story literally gave us the most throwaway bad guy ever, just a name and two cutscenes and then a boring ass fight. They should have not killed her, instead let her basically end up becoming like father slowing learning more and growing in power, while we also grow in power and have a grand fight within the trials itself.

    Only thing we got is the power left the instant we defeated the final Arbiter and went somewhere. It should have been a fight with Ereshkigal and her goons and those Pakanah ferals in the trials and be open ended, not actually making it to the depths. Leave it open ended, like a labyrinth you're traversing trying to get to the focal point. Grand battles below the surface to save the planet by calming the anomaly, but you'd have to sacrifice all these people who are in the trials, which is why you didn't take anyone with you and the whole safe space the rest are in would be ok. This could leave room for the true reason this power exists being revealed in a fresh DLC or second game as long as the first is successful enough. We know for a fact another power left this there, why would galaxies distant power know of others in the Universe. Could start off with you finally taming the anomaly and bringing peace to Enoch by forcing a lot of the anomaly power into the void of space and since you're now immortal you decided you'll travel through space to see if you can use your power to replenish Earth. Returning to find that same power also existed, but had been exhausted and in is lowest state supported normal life for billions of years, reveals Enoch to be a newly formed planet. The anomaly is a force of life that simply moves to coordinates and starts building worlds from the surrounding debris is space. It's actually a device and there must be a creator of it. Which could open up an entire new world of beings who are attempting to end all altered life because that wasn't supposed to happen and altered now have to contend with beings who can use the and power but to a greater degree and not lose themselves to it. Remember there are voices in the anomaly, which cause confusion and madness which is why those infected latch on to violence, hard to hear shit in your head when all your time is spent trying not to die. Outriders could easily be the start of a huge franchise, we see children born in that storm bathed planet are born altered. New Genesis of life forms. Create a body that goes around to ensure the anomaly on other planets remains calm so they can evolve smoothly instead of the violent emergence on Enoch. Outriders should be taken to the stars, like No Man's Sky but less collecting and mindless amounts of planets but focused story that has you dealing with anomaly abuse or rampant energy mutating because there's something worse that will come and we need altereds to on abundance to protect their own planets. Come on, this story is fresh with so many directions it can go.

  5. Triple turret techno is probably fine – mindless yes, but it isn’t pumping out ridiculous damage figures (at least not for me). If they only “fix” mage’s rage is fine – meaning it does what the text says without crazy ramp.

    Eruption pyro is great, but also over performing – I am pretty sure it will see some form of change.

Lol it's crazy I don't use mage's rage and my ap goes through the roof with out this mod hell my skills come back soooo quick I don't have time to use guns and that's y it's getting nerfed all of y'all are using this one mod on your ap builds to many people are using it as a 🩼 I have never used mage's rage and I never will

  8. I think the builds are fine (other than boulder dash bug etc), they need to buff some sets and leave the powerful ones alone. That said, I still believe they didn’t scale enemy health properly… they seem to be too easy. Maybe they didn’t add enough extra to allow for 3 mods per gear piece, or just too much time spent on each Apoc tier.

  9. If you’re running a techno turret build and using the armor/resistance piercing loop, try putting Toxic Piercer on. Toxic is always my #1 damage source on everything except the Arbiters. You don’t even need Icicle Storm since toxic erases everything so quickly. I’m seeing Toxic ticks around 3-4 million on regular adds and 6-7 million on some elites at Apoc 37. Without Mage’s Rage or FTF active , I still get over 1 million toxic ticks so it should be nerf proof.

Anyways, I’m really hoping to hop in a run with you Thursday night with my heat seeker build. I hit for 107 million last night my ap hit 13 million.

  11. I feel like the community is not concerned with a few mods that’s not working as intended and more with the loot and grind. I feel like their holding back on the patch cause they didn’t expect the player base to drop so fast with thier “content”. Some of these broken mods were discovered after their statement of the big balancing patch and now thier stuck between if they should fix it right away, while there’s other issues such as the cheating, matchmaking, etc. My stance on the whole mages rage is that yes, it’s one of a few mods “not working as intended” that’s actually benefiting us which they should keep for now as it’s making the game fun (we’re literally gods in the game, we should feel like gods). If they want to fix something, they should fix that other mods first that’s “not working as intended” such as hunt the prey for example.

  12. so they nerfed all good the mods by half on June 28th such as Captain Hunter and the Acari Bonus etc but u guys are still complaining about Mages Rage..fine boost the other mods back up..my thoughts was it was making up for the other nerfs..PCF is a joke..

  13. I like Lethal Devices myself even on my Ordinance build but it's very unfun looking to just throw turrets against the Arbiters and literally stand there while the turrets kill, even in a group of 3. To me personally, that's just more boring stuff on top of an already boring grind.

  14. they should fix these bugs where you get locked out of casting. I know gravity leap when going over certain areas will lock ur skills, feed the flames on pyro has a issue aswell that locks ur skills.

  15. The problem is that everyone always complaining about shit so what the mod is over powerful who cares. This is a basically a single player game so who care that it’s powerful. I get it if it was a pvp matter but it’s not. The game is getting fucked up bc of YT complaining and always yelling fix and nerf and Oo they do what the YT wants and guess what now it’s crap. So basically it was better the way it was. Just play the fking game and shit the fk up is my opinion

  16. I was one of them idiots that was hyped about the game and told friends about it when it first came out and in a few more weeks this game will be back on the shelves like it was for the last 5 months until this update and look now all players are gone again and so will I.

  17. I still don’t understand why it’s so easy to make a fire power build literally no effort and then if you try to build a AP build it’s like fighting against the devs trying to do an AP build. Do they not want Us to do AP builds or something? I would appreciate it if numbers are tuned up on AP based stuff or make it harder to make a fire power build. It’s just too one sided.

  18. Its not fair to the players trying to get there to be able to see real dmg but others the first week and then people say oh check out this op then here comes the bs this is every game in these times,its no fun no more.
