Yup. A game all about gear and builds and no loadouts, lockouts, and small shared inventory space. We need shared currencies as well. Going through the game once should make shared currencies unlocked on the account.
players actively stating not picking up a game cause 1 feature is not present, is a little over the top 🙂 also its not like its gamebreaking in any way. Maybe stop hoarding stuff, and say this cause i am not afraid of you that think all evolve around you 🙂 hehe…. I have friends playing outriders that have same complaint, so its not that i dont get it, BUT!!! there is a BIG but here…. these players have had these items for over a year without even using a single item, the items just sit there and does nothing for them. Concider what is useful instead of just complain you not enough space if you are not using the items. Just a thought, and now you may complain over me if you have the urge to do so 🙂
i would say getting better stability across platforms at times would be far better for a game, or actually not have 1 or 2 skills not working correctly do to server instability.
I would love to have shared currencies. Mods are universal anyways since you can put items with mods you dont have in your chest and dismantle them on what ever class that needed that mod. but currencies would have baan a nice feature for sure.
Void not so much an issue for me either, but a in game text chat might have been nice to see, again not a game breaking thing.
But at the end of the day i think for almost every outrider player, there are issues for every player that might be nice to have or want in a lootshooter. A sidenote, if they can make a transmog system that works, why not a loadout botton:) just a thought…..
i am sure this conversation is a long one and this is just what i think, i hope more will chime in and give pointers to improve aspects of the game for further fun in Outriders 🙂

@The Full Measure, They can easily give us, load outs slots, the ability to lock gear, and increase inventory space. Example we had a simple solution for the horrible RNG to get Legendarys that wouldn't drop. Have Tiagos items rotate they finally added that after 8 months with the November New Horizon update. So unfortunately the weak excuses they give us the community for not improving a gave we want to have longevity is discouraging…
I'm a little upset about no lock feature but still can't wait to play the dlc so not all bad
So what I've seen with the pax trees for FP builds it's more focused on assault weapons instead of just ALL weapons which I find upsetting cause I would love use an auto shotty or sniper build
Oh boy! Well yes I would be good with some of these additions. The lock issue may be down to the controller key assignment maybe. Loadouts is a huge issue as what happens if if does take it from the stash, what if its full etc. The management part if what’s complex and ties into stash space. Stash space is not as simple as you may think. Stash space = constant memory usage which may bring back equipment wipes or synchronization issues. Destiny did it but no more. The Division did it but there too no more. Don’t forget part of the stash space is also you player pack well as the stash which is constantly synchronized. I would even say the three mods levels are also in memory as well. If it was that easy, it would be done. Another example is Tiny Tina’s Wonderland has 500+ but the icons and images are not loading and its having issues showing items the more you have.
I'd be good with better auto-loot filter or "rules" settings. Make them comprehensive so I can farm for exactly what I want with choices to recycle, leave on the ground, backpack, or stash with choice of overflow destinations. For example: Armor: Gloves, Green only, FP and skill leech with any 3rd attribute, min level XX. No match: stash. Overflow: recycle.
It would be cool if the developers would incude swords as weapons for us OutRiders to use.
I am quite concerned with the response thearcan mentioned about adding more space causes game instability. Some players, maybe most, will almost never give up their favourite builds and weapons stored in stash due to comfortability with their builds and won't risk breaking the cycle of it. I don't think PCF are ready to implement a stash space increase yet as they are a small team. Cost wise, I would rather prefer them to implement gear locking and load outs first because I feel its easier for them and less time consuming and stressful on morale.
Also, that bug when picking up an item while opening the emote list is still there and softlocks the game until killed by NPC or game restart and I thought that issue was dealt with since new horizon, shame its not though.
In fact, I consider that as the most important bug they need to fix before worldslayer is launched, otherwise if it happens, the players will roar at PCF like a t-rex about it and other returning or new bugs too after launch.
I know BabbleOn mentioned in the podcast about their confidence in PCF not botching on their Worldslayer launch but still this is all with a grain of salt to not get hopes up for a smooth experience when it happens.
Having a loadout feature and lock item feature on a looter shooter should have already been in the game at launch. Still not having those in game is unacceptable.
It sounds like an excuse, like did they not know they were going to do two expansion/dlc to not give us item locking and a bigger item stash?! I def get why other players are considering not wanting to play the new paid dlc because of this.
There is a increase in level cap so that means that the weapon/gear we have now will be redundant. I will be more than likely deleting everything in my stash. But would like to see a increase in stash/inventory space. Understand its a technical issue they need to implement and it's not an easy fix.
The ability to tell someone you're playing with in a random team that you need a p*ss, give me 5 minutes, would be a godsend in this game!

the stash space is my real problem, they are adding more armor sets and my stash is already full, at least upgrade what were able to carry on each character .I dont care for having a chat feature but load outs would be sweet because i run 3 diff acari builds with diff mods on each on my pyro which is eating up my space but also takes a little work to figure which one i wanna run and which is which. Now my anger about no QOL will go up quite a bit if this releases bugged to shit cuz at that point what would stability from adding these changes matter if its going to be bugged anyways.
what about this….why cant they make it where each character u create has their own stash box?? a shared one makes no sense given how many items there are. my last idea would save stash space…..make all armor sets have the same top stat. My inventorys are full due to having to have boots and glove purples for every damn character. Make a set of 5 have a little better bonus than a set of 3 and make all match at least top stat.
I haven’t played in a while since Elden Ring (it has my soul) I didn’t even touch to much of the las content have no friends but I’ll check it out when it drops.
Stash space could be easily fixed if they change the pistol stash to open gear stash. I for one have never saved one of these shitty pistols. Wast of stash space

A way to remove the need for stash completely is to unlock any weapon you discover during gameplay and add a ingame resource with wich you can customize stats on the weapon.
This way you can pick a weapon, pick the stats you need for the build you want to play and you are ready to go.
This also removes the need for character slots btw, except the 4 different classes.
All you need is the ingame resource to customize.
A locking system for weapons and gear is obsolete in my opinion.
If you are deleting weapons and gear wich you didnt want to delete, you are not paying attention.
You need to select, press and hold to delete a weapon or piece of gear.
I mean.. come on.
What you want? An extra warning to pop up? Like, hey.. are you sure you want to delete this item?
Another option is to not play drunk..

Tbh loadouts and item lock should be in the game from the beginning, there's no excuse for it, modders can change loadouts in seconds why can't game developers do it 🤣
You made some really good points and I hope they find a way to address the stash issues some day.
I wish I could say I had multiple god rolls on any item, sadly god rolls have been both rare and random. For now I only keep duplicates of weapons that I use on multiple classes. I hold on to 1 of each type I get and then scrap the lowest item unless I know I need it for an alt build. Still need so many god roll items, weapons, gloves and boots that stash isn't a concern of mine, yet.
The ability to choose any expo from the expo screen is something I’d really like to see. I understand why it was done the way it was originally, but now that the expos have been rationalized in terms of loot output for both difficulty and length, it’s no longer a relevant restriction. And it really hurts our ability to run tests, etc., because we can’t easily run the same map over and over to control for a given variable.
I don’t believe anyone who says they won’t play the game if loadouts or item locking isn’t in (and yes, the lack thereof is quite painful). I think that’s typical gamer hyperbole and gamers are famous for making every kind of threat under the sun when they don’t get what they want. If you enjoy looter shooters and you like this game in particular, you’ll still play it because you’re here for the core gameplay loop, not the quality of life features. Anyone else wasn’t going to play it anyway.

All I wanted was the ability to change one of the 3 core stats on gear or guns, be nice to put anomaly power on my trespasser or borealis sets
