    On the subject of if the anomlay is sentient, what if the Anamoly was created by a sentient being ? Because the Pax were driven to near extinction?, but what about before it ? They must've either known how to deal with it before or it wasn't there.

    As for them trying to get to the flores , I'm sure at the ending when the pods drop they either get data to create or they get 3d printers which can make anything.
    Maybe with the new pods they could start making new homes that can bunker from the storm and eventually create new ships.

  3. At the moment the anomaly is just a storm I think, I have no doubt that in a future dlc they’ll tie it to some kind of being that we’ll have to boss fight. (No doubt the only way I’ll get past that is lowering the world tier like a coward again.)

    The storm problem took on the form of a god in the culture of the pax. Much like God Rays were thought to be god because the effects they had on you. (Warming you up.) or maybe they were some kind of Satan. With the mysterious species being the ones to hold it bad and thus being worshipped by the pax.
