For me it's mainly the grind, I've said this elsewhere as well but if I can get one class to 40 in a reasonable amount of time then I'll get all classes to 40, as it is my Devastator is at 38 and three quarters, I'll get that to 40 and then stick with that, I'm not going to bother with the others. The other issue for me is the Apoc gear, while I think we were all excited by what that would bring I think with the way it works it can hinder more than help. New maps and modes would be nice of course but lessening that grind, for me, offers longevity, as I'll play through the game and level up on the other classes with their different playstyles.
they don't have the time or resources because they release early and unfinished so why would anyone give them more money and time
I doubt they're is any hope of revival and the entire gaming community has made up their mind on this ip they not gonna give them a 4th chance and more money after getting ignored for months at a time
Some days befor the last patch i was very angry with my Youtubers, because noone was setting People Can Fly under "pressure". Everyone was happy, was joking around, enjoyed it to bring new build videos… refused it to REALLY talk about two of the biggest Problems: The grind and the loot.
I thought, if nobody wants to tell PCF that the state of the game is shit, we will just get a tiny-little-nothing patch… and the next opportunity to get a better patch would be weeks, maybe months away.
And here we are. Got the insulting 10% xp gain and other meaningless crap…. and after that just radio silence for weeks now.
Yeah, People Can Fly screwed it up… but the whole ambassadore szene (at least on youtube) where a big part of this fail.
Just an advice, not for you in particular, but for all Outriders Youtubers out there: "You are called "Influencer" for a reason… better use it to serve your community, not to make gaming companies feel comfortable. "Fight for getting games better!"

Tapped out at AT33 on my main. Just way too much. And it sucks because leaving without being max level on at least main goes against every looter instinct I have. Love the game but there are pretty egregious flaws.
I still play but it's like people can fly just have gave up on the game .
Horde mode through some of the story sites would be fantastic. Or capture the flag where you have to make your way up to the end of a choice of story maps and make your way back. Each time you do it in a single session, it gets harder and you get better gear and higher numbers of resourses. You could even have loot specific maps that rotate.
I've taken a break from Outriders i just find it kinda boring and repetitive. The grind has become unbearable. It's a game that has become something that i would play time to time.
Bruh they..like just dissapeared lmao. The devs and team just..vanished
While I would welcome something like a horde mode, I don’t think it would draw a meaningful number of players for any meaningful length of time. The reasons are that, one, the mode would be defeated within a few days to a couple of weeks and players would be back to complaining about “nothing to do.” Two, the player base is already so small that such a mode would be drawing on just a fraction of that fraction in terms of interest.
All this to say, I feel the reality is the game has reached the NATURAL end of its life cycle. We have to acknowledge and accept that this game is like any other linear game with a defined beginning and end. No one complains that there’s “nothing to do” in, for example, Doom or Control. We recognize that once you’ve reached the end of the game and beaten it, we’re done and it’s all good. Outriders is in fact this type of game, but because it’s in the looter-shooter category we’re expecting continuous content like any other live-service looter shooter. But since the game wasn’t designed with MTX functionality, how can PCF fund it? Answer: they can’t. And pumping out DLC to sell to a few thousand players—not all of whom are even guaranteed to buy it—can’t make much financial sense either.
I think PCF just has to learn from this and come back strong in a sequel that is redesigned (meaning, avoid the many mistakes made in vanilla, etc.) from the ground up. So yeah, if you enjoy it like I do you keep playing. But I have little in the way of expectation that this particular iteration “needs” to, or “must,” keep going. It’s OK for PCF to be done with the game.
The grind is silly – not nearly enough content to make it worth doing.
Remove the cost of all expeditions – Keep EOTS if you really want – that'll unlock some variety.
Increase Drop pod resources earnt.
Apoc gear is just to important after the WorldSlayer nerfs to the older Mods so if you dont have that perfect roll then you suffer hard for it.
As a result you just have to increase the drop rates. No choice in it otherwise it isnt worth it.
Also due to the Nerfs you basically killed the game for everyone that didnt buy WorldSlayer which was a really bad move – I'll be thinking twice before spending on another PCF title if thats their design intention.
I had all 4 characters maxed and a 2nd Techno pre Worldslayer.
Now its just a chore to play with any one of them and no way in the world I'll bother getting them all to 40.
Yes, we want the survival mode – Been talked about for ages and it'd still be a great addition.
Tarya Gratar is boring. the main bosses are uninspired and frankly just annoying to repeat.
All of the side bosses are better and have more of the Outriders feel than Shield boi and Arbiter.
The grind once you get to Apocalypse Tier 35 is too much
