What are your thoughts on Outriders?!
Good advice dude you spent like 15 minutes now comparing it while telling us not to compare it over and over again I would honestly not like to hear or would like to not hear him playing destiny to come out of any Youtubers multiple isn’t actually doing content for destiny two the same goes with anthem I mean come on it’s a failed game in that they’ve pulled development all together I’m in the game is going to run out of it as an actual halfway decent population at least downstairs floor but you know it’s not gonna be fixed there’s not gonna be any anthem to so why do you keep referring to it

I really hate to that guy but I feel like ive heard this attempt at trust building from developers before and with all the times ive been let down I can only feel the same way when it comes to this game as well. I will play it and I bet itll be good, but if they dont keep their word on the idea of content because thats what players feed off of especially in a looter shooter then game will just fall into the same bin as destiny 2. I have a sliver of hope that this game is different but thats all I can honestly give it.

Never played a demo so much and already pre ordered happy to do that and its enjoyable simple as.
As someone whose played 88 hours of the demo. Has two maxed classes. And 28 legendaries on ps5 (no trainer) this is the best looter shooter to date by far. There isn't a single loot grind game that even comes close this level of variety in terms of build diversity and its only a demo. Absolutely insane developers

I'm sorry, but from the demo anthem shits on this game from a gameplay perspective. Anthems issue was the world was dead, no end game content, and terrible story. Outriders world seems super basic with 2 screens of content for missions. Story so far seems terrible. Loot seems like it will be good. Game could, but very unlikely, end up good or terrible. More then likely I see this game being average. A short game with fun abilities and gear with terrible story, level design, gun play.
I like the combat in Outriders, it's fun, hectic and totally engaging. Graphic is meh, but I don't play looter shooters because graphic is top notch. But because I like the gameplay, crafting, etc.

Guarantee it won't fail. But bc of it being a non live stream service. Two maybe three years tops. Which is nice. Bc then it can be preserved in full glory and not run the the risk of rotting away.
I've lost 5 legos with this glitch. It fails until this is fixed.

Can’t compare destiny 2 which has had 10yrs to get better to outriders which in my opinion reminds me of gears of war than destiny there’s worse things to scared about in this world than a video game if I will like it or not everything you buy in this world is a gamble you could like a shirt in a store but when you take it home it doesn’t feel right so stop all this crazy scared stuff
I got my first legendary two days ago, farming terra infirma for 2-3 hours doing roughly 125 runs, but the third day on only my 2nd run I got torment and agony! I wanted either that or the thunderbird so I was so happy to get these!
I feel that they have something very special on their hands with this game! It's going to be amazing! 39 hours in with 3 legendaries so far. The grind will be on again tonight! Keep up the great content!

To me, the most relevant comparison is NOT a shooter like destiny or the division, or a highly polished story driven third person game like Gears of War. The best comparison is Diablo 3. Was diablo combat original? No. Were the graphics amazing? Nah, not even when D3 first came out. Were the controls and combat deeply rewarding or challenging? Not a chance. It wasn't balanced well, it had a nightmare of a real world auction house, uniques were so rare it was stupid and when you got one it was garbage. It was loaded with problems and it still survived long enough to get updated and fixed because despite all that it was FUN and people craved those interesting builds and game changing loadouts.
People love hating this game, but for all its many flaws (and there are many) I have had fun and eagerly looked forward to playing the demo every day. It's not for everyone, but for many of us it's got that loot magic that made D3 fun AND a more engaging combat system. It's always going to have haters, but I think it's going to be a solid success.
It’s not a 10 out of 10 I spent hours farming legendaries only got four and they took one of them plus the legendary smg is trash the drop rate is awful it shouldn’t take me a month to find ten legendaries in a demo
I dont scare at all, I play the demo love everything so far,the PCF dev team are super professional,plus is just 60$ for all that content, I will pay 100 for wherever that can make me have fun for a week lol,never going to understand the big deal that people make about games expecting everything free,worst scenario is just 60 dollar, I clean my ass with that lol

I think it’ll be great…for awhile…the expeditions we’ll have to wait & see but from the official vids on them they seem like glorified strikes from Destiny more along the lines of a nightfall. I’m ok with that. But I CAN see it becoming boring fast…
As the division 1 and 2 player I can say they already have one player on daily basis. Game got me by gameplay,combat and rewarding loot system. Just hope in long live and more content to Outriders.
borderlands last time i checked BL reshaped the looter shooter genre and BL was out before Destiny

This is why I believe it will fail because it's not a traditional looter shooter. This game will be better off to be just a regular single player game like ghost of tsushima.
The point of a looter shooter you kill enemies you collect loot you build up your character you level up your character just like games like Destiny games like Borderlands division. Warframe would fit that category but their system is a little different their progression is a little bit different. It's only called a looter shooter for Warframe because there are some enemies you kill that drop you loot such as Necromechs.
These are the outline reasons why I believe outriders will fail and maybe a month or 3 months from now it's going to get a reboot:
– you don't get loot from when you kill enemies.
-You have to speed run through content in order to get the most rewards possible from the activity.
-Not to mention sqaure said multiple times that there are multiple bugs that causes items to disappear from your inventory and they still haven't tried to address some of these issues in the latest update.
Most importantly square wants people to pay $60 for a game that they are not even confident will be successful. Like what they said last week on a Q&A, they will only add future content if they make enough money and if there is enough repeatable players playing the game.

I want the game to secede but honestly it's not with this kind of loot design. Even in the demo people get tired of grinding the same side quest to get loot over and over. Yet again in the final game they want people to follow the same design of something that people dislike in the demo.
