  2. It looks like it could be fun, but I'm disappointed that it won't be updated. Yes I do like and respect that they want to make a finished game on day 1, but I really want a looter shooter that I can grind for years to come. Destiny is still the most popular looter shooter, but it isn't really doing it for me anymore and Division and Anthem aren't great alternatives. I feel like if Outriders was a really good live service game then it could give Destiny some actual competition which could not only make Outriders great but it would also force Bungie to give players what they want.

  3. Might be cool, would have to see a review first. It also sucks that it wont be around for long. Maybe a dlc or 2 but it wont be around for too much longer than that from my understanding

  4. The problem I have with the game is that it looks super generic. The environments look bland, the enemies look uninteresting, even the characters you play as and their abilities look kinda "meh". Say what you will about Destiny but it got all those things right. This gives me vibes of a free to play title, mainly due to its color palette and design. I enjoy looter shooters, Borderlands has been consistenly the best since 2009 and one of the reasons is because it stands out as something unique. The way I like to judge a game is by looking at a screenshot and if I can tell at a glance what game it is. A random still from Outriders can be mistaken for a dozen other shooters.

  5. I'm excited that Outriders is making a point that it's essentially trying to be Destiny, but not a live-service game. Decent story, tons of end-game content, and tons of grinding to do for loot, except it's all built into the base game and probably eventually coming as dedicated expansions compared to the seasonal template the Destiny follows.

    I'm really optimistic about it.

  6. Your new on my feed but I want you to know that after seeing that you are an ambassador for the game (like 3 other YTers who have randomly showed up on my recommended) I simply cannot listen to your opinion. I have watched many ambassadors sell me the idea and potential for a game (take Anthem as 1 small example) and to just be let down. I'm sure you are a great content creator but this reason alone, I will not be watching the rest of this content or subscribing because well, I don't have a reason too. Im writing this because I think its only fair that CC's know that this is a very real worry for some viewers like myself.

  7. No microtransactions or no microtransactions at launch? That's a big distinction given how many games launched with them absent and got a lot of praise for them to just dial them back in a month or two after release
