Me and my friend couldn't join each other at all on Xbox. We could see each other but it just kept saying "failed to join." We both had open nat types. We tried hard starting our connections and our consoles. Cleared our system cache like 5 times. Nothing. Join codes gave us the same error: failed to join. Finally we just decided to search for a random lobby at the same time and lucked out. We joined the same game.
Use the Xbox join and invite not the inter software invite when adding another Xbox player

my problem is the game dont show friends that is currently playing even they really are playing, only shows my friendlist
I'm trying to join my girlfriend and play with her through her story rather than her joining me cuz the enemies will just one shot her since I'm max level but the game isn't allowing me to she's completed the prologue and everything but she can't seem to invite me neither can I join her does anyone have a solution

My problem is I don't play my Xbox I normally play my PlayStation that's where all my friends are so I literally have zero friends on Xbox. I wish some missions would automatically match you up so you have the chance to play with other people then you can send them a friend request so I can build my friends list up on Xbox
