They got money from Microsoft why would I buy a game im already renting don't make no sense
I NEVER would have purchased Hades because it's a rogue like game and I typically don't like this style of game. However…i am LOVING this game. Now I'm telling friends to get it. Also microsoft makes these deals with developers to get them on game pass. IF the dev didn't like the deal their game would not be on game pass.
I wouldn't spend 1cent on Hades because it isn't my type of game. Hell, I have a PS5…guess what exclusive game I didnt buy along with the majority of PS5 owners…Returnal. So yeah games like Hades and Returnal aren't for the casual gamer.

Listen, do the devs get money? If they do, then everyone can shut all the way the f*** up. I hate XBox, BUT I think game pass is fine. Who gives a crap. Devs get money for it. If you hate it or jealous, then freakin buy an Xbox and get gamepass
The reason Game Pass has haters is due to some people not understanding the economics of the service. These are also the same people that think the entire $60 of a game only goes to the devs and publisher.

Game sales can only be ruined by partnerships. These devs know what they getting with Microsoft's business strategy. I don't care about the revenue stream of these companies, ALL of them have been jacking the passion of gaming for years. (Hades will be alright)
Games like hade show you how to play games and makes you a better gamer but if you trash at games and can't learn you just play games to be part of console wars

crazy how hades was praised in high regards way before it touched a console and it was strictly on pc. nobody then was complaining about sales. (btw i have a copy of the game on pc)
I don't see how people are looking past square enix and seeing that they're clean in this, when actuality they're not.
Why do people act like Pubs are forced to use Game Pass??? They choose to put the game on there.
Gamestop, eBay, GameFly, Redbox, Blockbuster, Hollywood Video, Video Stage, your local video rental store, etc. The idea of “RENTAL SERVICES” or even reselling physical copies of finished/used video games has existed alongside the thriving retail video game industry since the late 1980s. I don’t understand why something like Game Pass is so much of an issue now, why weren’t any of these other so-called “rental services” an issue before? 🤷♀️

Yea, that’s what I was thinking. They signed a bad deal. Now we’re hearing it since they haven’t been paid royalties.
I mean whether I buy the game for £20 or play the game through Game Pass, I’m still supporting the developers/publishers, the devs/pubs are still getting my money as developers get paid through various ways on Game Pass – play time, install numbers, money up front, etc.
After leaving Game Pass, GTA 5 in the UK jumped to the number two spot in the UK.
Its an issue between square and the devs and the royaltiy agreement. Not an issue for xbox gamepass per say- they PAYED to have outriders on their service and square accepted…
Also- outriders was only on gamepass for console- not PC. PC got full game sales of outriders
Hades- of course ppl wont buy the game physical if they have access to the game digitial day one. When the game leaves gamepass, digital sales will pick up on xbox
Outriders was a last minute gamepass add on so if they sign the contract before they knew it was going on gamepass and remember alot of xbox user cancel there pre-order once they found out it was a gamepass game

All games are PC ported on Xbox 👎 Unplayable on the controller the Ascent etc. Terrible.🤦♂️🙈🤷♂️🤮😱 I see you are PC player too, that why you love Xbox. Consoles players only Nintendo and Sony. True Exclusives, witchout PC ported.

Publisher's already got their money upfront releasing on Gamepass. Hell some of these deals have been yrs in the works, that money prob payed full development cost for most. Plus they get front-page exposure and marketing from Microsoft, especially benefits small developers.
