why not use the damascus offering as it comes with claymore torrent and u can slot shadow comment to basically replicate the same mod loadout. the only reason i suggest that is the damascus offering is an lmg and you would be able to spam it more often since it comes with 100 rounds?
I use devastator with 3 earthquake 2 grav leaps and 3 spikes love it 😀

this does more damage than for example "untamed power"
I’m wracking my brain trying to get middle tree to work. I’m really struggling to do damage. With all classes, it’s pretty much too trees for fp and bottom for ap. I want to tank but at least do some damage. If you have a vid on the middle tree dev, I’ll try and find it. It’s so hard to get gear when I can’t put out the damage.
Any build that relies on not shooting/using powers in favor of mod swapping to abuse reload mechanics is hot garbage.
Yeah running around with a unloaded couple guns I can swap proc to might do more damage, but yeah that gameplay loop of not shooting, swapping weapons and cheese dicking it with AP of cancelling a skill I have only cause I can cancel it to swap my unloaded weapons to do stupid damage.
Moaning winds needs to be deleted from the game as it actively stops people from using their skills to create reload swapping builds. Hell I saw a build yesterday for Dev that had all three guns unloaded and was just a moaning winds swap party.
Just delete the stupid mod so people have to actually play the damn game.
As a Devastator main, I approve this message.

Reason i like playing devastator is the absolute tank aspect, i can just barrel into the thick of things and pound the hell out of them without dying in a second. My skill tree is a little different than the main bleed variety and i use leap ALOT. Its just a damn fun in your face, dont give 2 fks build.
Been using this build since the game came out and finally got the seismic helms and chest on a single expedition with 600+ hours on the character.I beat out both techno and trickster.I dont have fortress so instead use Kinetic stomp/shadow comet.
I don't usually look up builds on the net because I like building my own things, but it was funny to see this one because it's almost identical to my Devastator. We use the same mods on the primary weapon as well. Only two mods and a couple of skill points were different, one of which is that Pyromancer mod because I don't have a max leveled Pyromancer.
By the way, "melee" is not pronounced "me-lee," but rather "may-lay."
great video as always – this build has made me give the dev a go again! the only class i thought was s**t but this definitely brings it into a T15 roll easily.
Yeah that meta build has been around for a while. I remember when i first tried despair with double leap, i was surprised that it worked with moaning winds( not sure if it works with MW anymore). Was the 1st time i hit like 6m+ in a single hit with devastator( had a pyro on my team). This was back in like april/may lol.
They really need to give the Dev some "Boulder Rounds". If the dev gets some anamoly rounds, he would have the best close range firepower build. A close rank tank that can mow anything down, that doesnt have to* rely on anamoly powers. Thats what I want.
I came with this wave of new horizon players and didn’t have a clue about 2 weeks ago, now I’ve got a strong ass deva and a super strong techno thanks to your vids. Love the game glad I played later tbh I can enjoy it until the new stuff drops 😀 rng save us
cant stand EQ hits tiny damage, ive been almost a day 1 deva since my techno got the char wipe bug from way back, honetly impale is just superior, was nervous to switch but damn its so much stronger grav leap impale golem atm is a fun playstyle the 45% anom boost from protection is nice never gonna reactivate deactivate reflect bullets seems very not fun , but i do change it sometimes because we all love the bird creatures as deva right those are super fun.
P.S saw the last comment about the background music, guess i imagine sabaton playing in the back ground on the devastator haha
unstoppable force + no resistance against the fortified is a good combo , hit 115 resistance pierce on a trickster, idk if u can push resistance into negative values in outriders tho so meh

Hey I always enjoy the content and it's great your bringing this build and others to your community but this is one issue I have with the game in the lack of options classes have…I've been running this same build on dev since I grinded for seismic set early on,the only difference now bc of moaning winds nerf I use pyre instead of death shield. This is the only viable option for a dev bc firepower build is still broke and the other options just don't cut it…it's not just dev but look at trickster the only difference In my build is I know use trespasser set but otherwise same mods same skills and its still better than an AP option.
Also they added some new weapons yet we still use the same weapons (death shield,animoei,pyre) lack of options. I get yes there's no time gate now but I can tell when I'm using some random build compared to a meta build especially solo.
Sorry for long post but it's frustrating for a game that has potential but the devs don't get it, yea they made some improvements but no real content til sometime next year and it's basically still the same old options.

I tried your previous build and it was great. However, I built this yesterday and it's on a whole other level. I was destroying everything insight so fast. Hats off to the creator of this build.
Have you ran this build in Wellspring? I had trouble with the middle boss without golem.
Hey full measure I just want ask if you have tried the thunderbird as you're secondary to the anemoi being you're first and the mods are great on the the anemoi I have the same setup up but I run the thunderbird as my secondary with ultimate storm whip and strings of gauss it's just as op as the weapon setup you got oh and if you took the time to read this is impale ok instead of gravity leap and is using collum ok to reflect bullet's
Idk your is great but I love my impale and earthquake when I solo I do about 240 million
Dying isn't fun, which makes Devastator best class by default.

ok, so I decided to check this build out not expecting too much out of it. I am so sorry I doubted you. I tweaked it a bit gaining a shit ton more firepower and about 4k more anomaly power than you did. Ultimately it did not offer a big improvement over what I was using which I think is a big call out for some kind of buff needed for devastator is needed. Ran 4 ct 15 and averaged about 154,000000 per game and that was in a group with a Technomancer. This is not going to break any record time runs but you will hold your own.
Thank you, I just got my Dev to 50 after not really enjoying the low dmg. This build could change all of that. I don't follow a lot of build sites, so this video helped me a ton!

My ears….dude wtf with the BG music? It sounds louder than your voice 🙁 Also, reflect bullets is a dead wasted skill unless you opt to run only expeditions filled with humanoid enemies. Switch it to Tremor, with bleed mods per tremor pulse and you are golden. And the TOP META sh…it makes this video fraud clickbait, because it is not TOP META even from author of this reddit post.

i got a bad ass firepower devstator that puts up crit numbers higher than a techno, i hit a 8.4 mil crit earlier on a brood mother with the inferno seed. Still tanky and does massive gun damage. Not a fan of this build u show, but looks like a good one for someone not as experienced with outriders.
My Pure Tank build is better and fun to watch. Dmg don’t matter for devastator.
How did you get your anomaly power so high? I can't get above 170k.
Had this since day one, then changed to claymore torrent and shadow comet once Moaning winds was changed. Good explanation tho, also golem works just as well if not reflect bullets.
Love dev. Still do t have the helm though. Lol it eludes me.
