Today we take a look at a glitch with weapon mods, that allows shotguns to proc the same weapon mod on many different enemies at the same time, in Outriders. This glitch revolves around using slug variant auto shotguns with on hit based weapon mods, to proc the same weapon mod effect on multiple enemies at the same time. This massively increases your overall damage.

With shotguns being able to proc the same mod on multiple enemies at the time, it makes shotguns by far the best weapons for any anomaly focused builds. Especially considering Outriders is heavily focused on fighting big groups of enemies.
, this is what I've been doing with the bulwark and meteor to drop a lot of meteors at 1 depending on the angle that I hit the enemy
it doesnt work for me :)…it is still a good mod

I wouldn't call this a glitch AT ALL. It's a shotgun, shotguns have numerous projectiles that come out and each counts as a hit.
Calling it a glitch is misleading and makes some people feel like they're exploiting or something and could potentially bring the attention of the devs if everyone and their mother is calling a feature, a glitch. 🙄

I don't think it's a glitch. Status effects happen on instance of damage, so if multiple enemies are hit on the same instance of damage, it's triggered on them all

Been using this on non legendary SG. Claymore and electric whip. But I wouldn't say a glitch but taking advantage of the game mechanics
To all the people hating, this IS in fact a glitch. The whole point of the skills having a cooldown is to limit how often the damage happens. Burst weapons are capable of hitting multiple targets too, and yet only the first bullet procs. Why? Because they only want that skill damage happening once each cooldown period. It's not rocket science people, it's basic game balancing. You really think they would make one gun do 15 to 20 times the amount of damage as another just because it has more projectiles? No they would make the projectiles each do less damage or only make the first one do full. It's one or the other to not break the game. Stop hating on this guy because you don't understand game design.
So will ricochet proc death chains to the additional target for rifles or other weapon types I wonder 🤔

I just figured this out today using a pump action shotgun with the comet mod. I was like holy shit this is sum cheese I thought I was the only one who knew
This is not a glitch, calling it such is more likely to get the community to view it in a negative way because you are insinuating that this was not an intended function. Shotguns by design have a widespread and multiple pellets in one shot, using a mod that affects one round of ammunition to proc a tier 3 mod is not glitchy or even cheesy, it's playing the game and intelligently strategizing. Stop trying to make clickbait!!!

Lol @ all these people saying it's not a bug/ glitch until it gets fixed. 1 second is 1 second, multiple pellets or not it shouldn't trigger multiple SINGLE TARGET hits.
I dont think this is a glitch as the descriptions sais its "the first hit" not "first enemie hit"

This is NOT a glitch in anyway . It works perfectly. People that call this a Glitch are saying that because they already cleared all the CT levels using these Mods and now want to call them out as “BROKEN” or “GLITCHED” anyone who knows about guns would know that a shot gun shot spreads on shots 🤷♂️ So it’s working PERFECTLY FINE 💯 thanks for showing us just how well the Gun and Mod is suppose to work 👍🏻 and again this is NOT a game breaking Glitch 😂
Um, why do you say this is a glitch? Shotguns fire multiple pellets, every pellet that hits can trigger the mod effect. I just assumed that is how it is supposed to work.
