Welcome back to Outriders. In this video we are talking about Outriders 2 and what it would need in my opinion to make it a good game. Square Enix and People Can Fly have a really hard time ahead of them due to how they treated the first game but they claimed near the launch of the game that Outriders is their next “major franchise”. Let me know your thoughts in the comments 😀

  1. I would like to see iF an outriders 2 is going to be made in the future, melee weapons and buffs to the mods that actually matter f let's just say the gun is not in the Maine class that it's it's supposed to be.. for example after weapon isn't earth type what you get that weapon for a fire type the mod for that type should be buffed since the enemies are overflowing. 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄 for the love of God put an offline mode in the game just yesterday I was playing bloodborne and it had an off-line mode and an online mode. Brand new armor sets just a crazy idea vehicles for those long long long Journeys. It would save us so much time. An ability that would let us control some enemies even a boss master or two.🤘🏿🤘🏿🤘🏿🤘🏿🤘🏿🤘🏿🤘🏿🤘🏿🤘🏿. The reason why I say this is because why fight one boss when you can control that one boss and the second boss is a lot harder then the boss you are going to face anyway. Dual wielding it would make for an exciting trip.

  2. I never even made it to end-game. I think I got about 2/3 – 3/4. I just got so tired of my Ranged character being forced to fight everything at melee distance. It's a huge peeve of mine in games – devs create the weapons and the abilities and then design the gameplay such that the player should never use that gear or abilities. Short version: "You can create a sniper, but the entire game will be fought at close range."

  3. Oh man, we doing this? Ok. I got a list of shit I want. Buckle in kids.

    -Soft Reboot of The Story
The story could be decent but the game quickly went over a lot of different plot lines and rarely any of them got good bit of time and/or satisfying ending. I find it odd that they have in game models of certain characters in the codex that are only mentioned in said codex and journal entries. It comes off as this weird casserole of all this different stuff they wanted to do but kind of threw it all together cause time ran out. The Insurgent War & First Insurgent Altered Leader, The Altered Warlords, Seth & Moloch, ECA & Colonization (There honestly should be more settlements with more ECA Grand Marshals or something), Expeditions Across the Planet, The Natives & Monroy, The Planet Biomes & The Anomaly Energy Mysteries. There's so much stuff to explore and build gameplay events around. They unnecessarily blew their 'load' on the first game. Admit that you didn't have plans, the first game was kind of an embarrassing start, fix it since we're going deep as a franchise and create a good foundation. Don't pull a Bungie. And most importantly, DON'T KILL OFF JAKOB. HE WAS THE BEST CHARACTER AND YOU GUYS KILLED HIM OFF.

-For the love of god, DON'T DO 'ALWAYS ONLINE'
I know the corporate element of the games industry wants this so they can bend us over the barrel for a ton of reasons but don't do that crap. We should be able to play it without being connected to the internet.

    -Enemy Diversity and Balancing
They made that whole interrupt mechanic in game but also give enemies a cc immunity mechanic too. And it can trigger on taking enough damage from cc damage sources. A lot of times you'll stop one attack but because of the damage the enemy took on that interrupt their bar fills instantly & they gain that immunity immediately & go to town on you. Not to mention some attacks are insanely hard to dodge, and apart from the Trickster's two abilities & the Devastator's Gravity leap we have no mobility. I believe that's also feeding into the dps fest the game is cause you have to kill stuff before they can attack you cause you can't avoid damage. Healing mechanics be damned if they can CC stun lock you.

    -Gameplay and Drops
This kind of ties back into the story but it seems like there should had been special boss enemies and characters we could fight in special missions to be able to farm certain legendries. Like how the first Altered boss had Grim Marrow, we should had ran into other Warlords that were basically the original owners/creators of certain legendries.

    -Customizations
Building off what you already mentioned and this is also a balancing thing, but better thought out customization. Transmogrification. Better and diverse attributes. They all have the same stats when maxed out. Even the freakin' legendries. You had some ability mods that made it where your damage scaled based of off something else, think the cryo turret mod and status power. More mods should be like that and not solely rely on fixed static numbers based on levels. Not saying you can't have that but have it where its that PLUS something else it's getting a multiplier from. Similar to how MOBAs have abilities with their flat numbers on abilities but also have bonus ratios that's converting some other stat to give it another boost in power. Mod does (Flat Damage Amount for Level X) damage, and gets a x(60% of Total Health Bonus Attributes on Gear Pieces) damage multiplier.

Also in the first game specific items are dropped relative to the levels. After awhile the items that would drop for you post level 20 become unobtainable for a high level character. Even with lower WT. Some of them looked really cool. So if you want those pieces you would have to start with new characters and farm until they over level to have access to them. Fixed drops for locations.

Plus everything else listed in the video.

  4. Not sure I can trust these folks for another try.

Did they learn from this experience?
Are they going to listen to the devs and fans and not their greedy management?

Did you play The Division and Division 2?
Would you trust the company to play a Division 3?
Do you know if Grubbysoft learned enough from the Division to make a better Division 2?

  5. They can't polish a turd.

Cloud Gaming seems to laud over Bugriders thinking it's the best looter shooter but considering the standard, or lack thereof, it's not hard but sadly Bugriders is not the best or even close.
