It’s been almost 2 months since I played Outriders and nearly 3 months since it launched. The many issues forced me to stop playing so today, with the latest patch live, I decided to drop back in and see what’s changed and, whether I’d come abck or not.

Outriders is a third-person shooter mixed with elements from role-playing games. In the beginning of the game, players create their custom characters and choose from four classes, each of them with unique abilities that the players can use. The four classes include the Trickster, which has the ability to manipulate time, the Pyromancer, which can manipulate fire, the Devastator, which can unleash seismic attacks, and the Technomancer, which uses turrets and other devices. These special skills have a short cooldown time and can be combined with other skills for maximum effects. The game features a skill tree that allows players to unlock and upgrade their skills.
Players can use different weapons such as shotguns and assault rifles to defeat enemies, and firearms can be customized with weapon mods. Players can hide behind cover to shield themselves from enemy attacks, though health will only regenerate if the player manages to hurt or kill enemies. Players combat both monsters and human enemies. As the player progresses, the world level (the game’s equivalent to gameplay difficulty) will increase. If the world level is high, it is more likely for the player to get high-end loot from defeated enemies. Players can equip armors that offer protection against incoming damage, with each class having their own unique armor sets to collect.
The game incorporates various role-playing elements. As the players explore, they can explore different hub areas, talk to non-playable characters and complete side missions. In cutscenes a dialogue tree allows to decide the outcome of some conversations, though it does not affect the story’s progression. The game can be played solo, but players can also complete the game together with two other players.

dead game bro 👎👎👎👎
On the plus side, for these kind of new(ish) games.. the comeback title is still up for grabs. Better late than never should never apply to most products. Besides that, I have the same issues with loot in this one as all the other loot grind ideas… Legendary does not mean worth it. Brutally honest, I am super bored without a fully fleshed out game built for longevity of content. I can't play any of the older stuff anymore. The gaming community legit needs some fresh bold ideas. Designed to succeed rather than cash in.
I played the demo hoping it would serve as a filler until the new content for the division comes out. I wasn't impressed with the game, the UI and various other thing's. Due to this I didn't buy it.
After a month so many bad report's came out about it and so many people stopped playing I felt I'd made the right choice.
No matter what updates they do to it I won't try it again and from lot's of people I've spoken to who bought the game now regret it.
This game is hot garbage. It's saving grace was free on game pass and I didn't waste time AND money.
I stopped playing because I could not progress anymore with matchmaking. Like you stated, the resources to upgrade are insane…
game keeps crashing because stupid devs put too many spamming enemies.
Gamerdaddy is very unhappy that u are playing another game…massive need our support😂
