  1. Their explanation of the fortress mod change was absolute bollo***.

    They contradicted themselves and tried to hype up a huge nerf.

    They should remove the timers, since they want to consistently reduce player power.

    Their ineptitude is astounding

  2. How I would change fortress – remove the mod then change it to be a stacking set bonus. Let me explain, for example, the Seismic Commander set requires 3 pieces to get the 50% bleed bonus but plenty of devastators use purple gloves and boots cause they don't need more. So Fortress would give you a 10% bonus per gear you had of one legendary set. Having the 3 required for a set bonus would give you 30% but having a full set would give you up to 50%. Players would have room to play on their guns to diversify their mods like PCF wants, players would keep their end game power bonus and have the decision-making of determining if purple gloves with God Roll CDR and Anonomy power is worth giving up 10% of their fortress armor bonus.

They are ruining the devastor class.It is a pve only game,we are playing the game the way they made it.Yet they feel the need to nerf a game thats on life-support.No new content as well as late patches.They created a timed end game -so we have to do the most damage in a really short time to get gold.And now they feel the need to basically say hey only run pyro or tecno.My devastator is almost perfect after 4 months,im usually tops or 2nd after expos.I had a ton of high hopes for this game but after this is like the why bother.

  4. Honestly all this effort going in to a singular mod is a waste of time and resources. PCF should be focusing on bugs that have been on their list for months. They should also be working on new content like dlc and new gear. If they keep going on like this then the player base will be 0 by Christmas.

    Well, it is not about how much they nerf the mod. It is about how they think. They think it will make players to use other mods if they nerf it. Well that was like one of only a few mods that are useful in this shitty game. And i don't think they can pull it without messing up the program further with their capability.
    As you mentioned, they will lose more players which there are very small number of people paying. What they need is buffing up their commonsense.

    Moaning winds cooldown on all guns (if they buff radiation splach that is no problem)

    "Nerf" fortress but just so all the other mods can be increased to about the same end result damage numbers,
    If they would playtest thats easily done

    Everything except fp techno will suffer so just buff anomaly and firepower % in those trees!

    Then increase some skill specific damage numbers and bonus sets untill everything can reach the time of a techno fp

    That point wouldn't everybody be happy?? And yes it starts with a fortress nerf but the domino effect is worth it!
    If they have a plan like that… then just communicate in a straight up way with us and all is good!!

    But they are deadset on reverting fortress to the tank builds… and that would have been fine after 1 week, but we are 5 months in

  7. I only comment because I like your videos but I no longer like this game I stop playing over a month ago and I’m not coming back this game is done hopefully they could save some players . You guys as players should start standing up for yourself’s and time the developers to stop Messing with the game you paid your money this is PVE not PVP so no Nerf !!!

  8. PCF needs to come out clear already and give outriders the 'Live service' label, the never ending nerfing of players in a singleplayer/co-op pve game makes 0 sense if the game isn't live service.

  9. That would not work. Because it will still be used the same way. I don’t see where the build diversity will come in. The mod was intended for middle tree users. The mod has to be changed because it is too strong and players depend too much on it. You’re damn near obligated to use it for AP builds. Only way this will work is if they significantly buff AP builds to compensate for the removal of fortress then the change will be fine. No harm no foul you can now add whatever other mods you wish. Also this mod is what also made moaning winds OP. So with the change moaning wings won’t need to be touch because players enjoy being able to complete content without shooting.

  10. Hey guys! How do we get the players back? Oi mate, lets change Fortress to Nerftress and Moaning Winds to Nerfing Winds! Ahhh Yeah, good game design in action. We want a diversity in builds, but we won't make the situation friendly for different builds. Are they still using lead pipes in their office or is this some nefarious plan by someone in management? Yes sir, let's make the power fantasy better by taking away the player's power. That'll bring them back. I wonder if PCF and Seedy Project Reticent have gone to the same management training seminar.
    That sword of Anthem gets closer and closer.

  11. Man I haven't played this game in months glad I'm in no hurry to ever come back unless dlc ever comes. Deleted off my ps5 needed more room for coming games. Excited for 2042,kena bridge of spirits, farcry 6,forspoken, avatar frontiers, forbidden west,hogwarts legacy,dying light 2,
    Can't wait for the future of gaming I've lost hope for outriders bit seeing videos males me wish thier was different developer's behind outriders honestly

  12. It's incorrect to say that any other mod could be used in place of Fortress because no other weapon mods increase your Anomaly damage. Fortress is not overly used by weapons builds because other mods can do 75% damage so there are other/better alternatives. Fortress is the mod that makes power builds work and aside from Moaning Winds, is the only mod that is useful when you don't shoot your weapon. I hope the devs read this but they need to understand that we have weapon builds for when we want to shoot…when we do power builds we don't want to shoot! They build a game where hybrid builds don't work because both weapon and power damage is too low without 100% focus on one, so if they take away Fortress, they are taking away half of the valid builds (all the power builds). How is this going to "diversify" anything?
    Leave the mods alone or buff the others enough to make them as powerful. Fortress is not overpowered, it's the only thing making power builds powerful enough.

  13. I don't understand why a nerf was needed in the first place, if they wanted the community to use other mods then they should implement a lock to prevent the same mod being applied again on another weapon if its already applied on once. Just like with gear pieces.
    BUT never mind the mods, the first priority is fixing this game by getting dedicated servers and remove the exhibitions timers and change how exhibitions work introducing targets, bounty hunts, protecting hostages etc. Hell more diversity in game modes and to encourage more viability for builds used for their roles.

  14. The whole Fortress debacle makes no sense. It's not like PCF made a mod that looked fine at launch but then clever players managed to find a cool way to exploit the mod to make it OP. Right from Launch, Fortress gave a straight 43% damage buff – it was MADE like that by the DEVELOPERS. So how can they possibly complain about it now? It's like the Devs were somehow caught by surprise that a mod which gives a straight 43% buff would be really popular!!! The only explanation is that the PCF Devs never even tested this mod pre-launch, and that's why they are now playing catch up with the player base!

  15. The problem with looter shooters anymore is..
    They keep nerfing stuff that people actually USE! When what they should be doing is buffing the counters to these! Bungie lost me a while ago with the D2 dumphuckery.
    It’s pretty simple. Every mod/buff/exotic etc should have an equal counterpart. This gives everyone the option to offense/defense however they want. It deepens the pool as well.
    Can Beyond Good and Evil2 just hurry up already?

  16. Here is how I would fix it. 1st, extend expedition timer by 20%. 2nd, Fortress should change to "After taking damage, receive 35% dmg bonus based on armor for 8 seconds. Cooldown 5 seconds." 3rd, buff other mods to be competitive with Fortress

  17. Brother – time to diversify the channel. Your subs who have been following you will keep doing that cause we like your style. I know your channel really kicked off with outriders, but I’ve finally given up on the game until I hear anything substantial about a DLC or something akin to decent news. I think I would be speaking for the majority of your community when I say – move on to other games like Alien FTE or really anything else – it’s a zero sum game at this point. Turd has metaphorically been flushed at this point – don’t chase it into the sewer. We’ll follow you mate to something new (worth covering).

  18. what i felt was my biggest issue was the lack of synergy between the classes at end game so either my team would fail on time due to either me and my dev killing most before my techno friend could get a kill to replenish his blighted round this was same deal with my trickster friend it's a time team based end game and none of the classes work together mainly posible fix give dev armour build a taunt of sorts alloying the dev to been the intended tank while the glass cannon trickster or techno spit bullets also i spent the last 4 months or so just straight boosting folk through the ct's but hey i deleted it entirely so don't know why i'm still commenting

This game has more bugs than Cyberpunk at its launch, seriously I mean it, no joking (testing 4 classes, 44 days played so far) despite of fact the game is a pure joke, I still have some hopes devs would start to listen to remaining players but it seems they are deluded and incompetent, lots of issues haven't been sorted out yet

  20. To be perfectly honest… there would be a TON more build diversity if there was simply a way to mod that second mod slot. Let me earn keys to unlock it so I can have Fortress and Dark Sacrifice on a gun that isn't either a shotgun or an smg.
