Pyromancer is very good once you get the right mods. It just takes longer to get them. Also, you'll also want weapons that inflict ash and burn.
Well the dev's did say they balance this class for the demo, and said this class is strong later on
You are sleeping on overheat. Get the pants on fire MOD to increase damage to non-burning enemies. The skill range is huge, so it usually hits the entire arena, takes over half their HP, then throw a thermal bomb at anyone, and it usually kills them outright and they blow up. Just as satisfying as any other class synergy.
I run pyromancer with no issues, farming and all.
Pyro can hit 1k+
With just skill alone in the demo I rank trickster, techno, dev, and pyro.
I felt the way about techno at the beginning.

Yeah played all 4 class for hours. Pyro and techno my two go to class simple reason is just better with the right gear on this level to farm legendaries. I have 15 obviously some duplicate.
U need the right mods and right abilities.
