Today we will be looking at the new looter shooter rpg, Outriders, created by People Can Fly and published by Square Enix. We will break the game down into Story, Builds, Customization, & Endgame. There is a free demo coming February 25th before the actual release date of April 1st. Hopefully this clears up any confusion or mystery behind the game!

So you have to be online to play solo campaign , is not live service but is not offline

I am so excited for this title. Really bummed me out when they pushed back the release date but as long as it's nothing like the Anthem launch it should be worth the wait!!

Almost everything about this game is appealing, my only problem is its 3rd person, I'd rather have an option to play in first person as it would be more immersing, and for me easier to play

Will i be punished for being a solo player like most games? i was happy with borderlands 3 cuz i could do everything solo or with 1 friend. but i'm primarily a solo player, i don't want to miss out on half the end game if it's tailored only to teams.
Looks awesome but if parts of the game/loot are gated behind some kind of raid a la Destiny it's just not the game for me. Don't wanna spend hours discussing strategies or building a team of regulars. I'm more of a drop in/drop out kind of player.

Is it just destiny/borderlands but 3rd person give me things to compare it to also make a better story set up this one sounds like the start of destiny or warframe but more basic you've seen what happens when a good game get a crap story or vise versa

Looter Shooter is always a red flag, even though GodFall was fine
As long as the loot system is more Borderlands and less Destiny I might try it. Destiny's loot system is awful.

Only bad thing I’ve found so far is that it has no built in voip. Kind of sucks considering the crossplay at launch. Won’t effect you if you play just on one platform because you can start a party chat or use discord on the pc. Maybe they can add it if it’s in high demand. Still plan to buy it regardless.
