  1. I feel like Snipers definitely lack both damage and ammo. Often one burst of a tac ar deals more damage than a sniper hit which makes no sense at all. Imo, they could maybe change the crit multiplyer to be a lot higher on snipers to reward accuracy which is usually how snipers are supposed to be used anyway. Your comment on that the devs didn't want to encourage a camping, passive playstyle makes sense but if that is the case then they shouldn't have included snipers at all and they shouldn't have teased the technomancer as a "sniper class".

  2. I think they definitely should have made something like an ‘Anomaly Blade’ for trickster (at least) which fabricates an anomaly melee weapon which can slice and dice like a sword, without cooldown. 😄

    But I do agree with you with the existing weapons 😊

  3. That's a BA Sniper? You can turn off the scope overlay on BA Snipers? Wait that's not a sniper. It's a marksman rifle set to single shot. The way you said it made it sound like you were using a BA Sniper in the game play.

  4. I would suggest just removing unlimited ammo on a pistol and have it scale similarly to other weapon classes. I can’t see a world where you need unlimited ammo in this game and if you did, well you fucked up.

  5. @7:20 Destiny 2 switched to unlimited ammo on all primary weapons (ar, scout, smg, pistol) with no detriment to game play. Allowing pistols to scale with unlimted ammo won't hurt game play. They have short range and lower accuracy than other primaries to balance them.

  6. Great points dude! To add to the sniper convo, for me (console) an extra issue is that the aim assist (even when off) just does what it thinks you want to do. On top of that there is no way to change the scope, and the majority are like 50,000,000 X zoom, the game just doesn't suit a sniper playstyle with that type of magnification when 20 Perforo are trying to crawl up your ass.

  7. Regardless of gun balance what People can fly should focus on is the netcode. This game has the worst connection issues I’ve ever seen on a game of this scale, I can play games like Division 2, Destiny 2, Warframe and Remnant from the ashes with my friends all over the word with little to no connection issues but this game is just a chore to play when not hosting

  8. Agreed on double guns. I don't understand their purpose and never have. Mag size bigger than an AR but still too small to use like an LMG, especially for a rounds build like Volcanic Rounds. Damage too low, also like an LMG, to be an effective damage dealer. Snipers don't work because the design of the game really doesn't allow for it, except maybe on well-coordinated teams with voice comms–but the game doesn't natively support voice chat. All enemies immediately rush you so using snipers solo just doesn't work. Pistols? Would be nice if the devs had gone the Borderlands route and made them viable in their own right, but they made a different decision. But since they go unused, was it the right decision? I'm thinking no. So yeah, all those need a revision, IMO. But I wouldn't stop there. I'm not convinced ANY of the gun types have been done as well as they could be. They should all be looked at.
